I like to think It's the secret hier of the previous white king since there's a card in game that has this effect to turn a pawn into a king and the book of rules is effectively what gave the bishops their knowledge, so a pawn owning one would get to know a lot and that's why they replace the bishop once they're out in the revenge ending

@@flyingstonemon3564 Well mine is like this, the book of rules is the book of rules to play chess, basically an idea that people believed (thus the reason why it is holy). Idk much about chess but maybe the rules of chess that forbid the blacks to go first is one of the reasons why all the blacks left the black king, thus lead us into the story of the shotgun king with 3 endings 1. The black king kills the white king, who is the most powerful chessman that follow the Rules, you proved that you could defeat the whites without the need of chessmen, but the bishop with the holy book still there, thus the idea stay that even the blacks may defeated the white, the white can do the same 2. You kill the traitor bishop, who understand the rules, means that you defeat the guy who best at that idea, but the book escape and the idea still there, thus it will still be alive, waiting for the chosen to understand, follow and use it aganist the black king, because no matter if the black king could defeat the guy who stands for the righteous of the idea, if the idea still there, it still be right 3. You "kill" the book, prove that your idea, the shotgun, is more weight than the rules, thus make you and the shotgun holiness since you are the "righteous" That's all what i thought, like i said, overthinking

we had suggested those endings before but got no answer from the devs, however they did say there was an update coming to the game. so we can hope and dream :)

I think most people would play it for less than an hour, it would be very hard on first floors, but when white has queen (maybe more than 1) and rooks, it's easy to checkmate for a human or bot playing like in normal chess.

either throw it off the board with kings shoulders or get the guillotine card kill all pieces other than the queen then she will lose her iron coating OR deactivate the iron maiden card with secret mission
