I'd highly recommend the Tascam DR70D audio recorder for any project you're working on. While it may seem like a pricy investment up front I'd say in the long run its worth it. My Tascam DR70D audio recorder has been such an essential role in any documentary, promotional, or interview videos I've done for personal projects or my business. I can't go back to recording interviews on my DSLR camera alone.
