Should just use the gravestone mod, at least you have to get back to the items. Also, theres other people than AH on the server so keep inventory will affect them too, so they have to want it too. Same as any mods though.

yea they always seem to forget everything about tinkers each time except for jack. its not hard to learn, i think the only thing i looked up was how to build the furnace and what the special modifiers did like 1 dimond gave it more strength i think but could only add one diamond to a tool.

tinkers was also in skyblock which is where i first learned it so they seen it multiple times

@@dixiebot most of the info is in the book and they can learn it off screen. thats what jack did. the longest part about learning tinkers is just getting all the materials needed to make the furnace and each block of tinkers.

even on jon risinger knows about tinkers and was teaching gus and blaine in a recent video. no reason they should not know it by this point. except for ky because they are new. and they still crafted their sword and made michale one

But he still thinks the cleaver is the go to weapon so I wouldn't even say that. His cleaver is probably about as good as a diamond sword dps wise, but that relies on hitting every swing in perfect rhythm and also prevents the use of a shield so...

@@cameronwilsey9334 iirc, the cleaver has the highest per-hit damage out of all the options. If upgraded all the way, you can get it to where it 1-shots zombies and the like or 2-shot endermen. That said, it doesn't let you use a shield (like you said), and it is really slow comparatively.

There is content to be had to not having keep inventory on to discourage dying, but also they have to make a video within a single set recording period so can't have people trying to find where they died costing like 20mins of possible filming time.

@@KallenVM well it depends what other mods you have installed and what you want your tools/weapons to do but I recommend at least constructs armory, tinkers evolution, as well as having draconic evolution and Avaritia mods (Avaritia is the mod that gave them the infinity armor in stoneblock. Draconic evolution, they’ve dabbled in some form in most of their modded mini series) Tinkers evolution lets you use upgrade your tools using various mods methods of upgrading as well as giving you access to some very powerful materials. For example You can make a pickaxe with a part being made of draconium and then the tool is able to be upgraded in DE infuser or whatever it’s called to get a pickaxe that can mine potentially a 15x15 space I think if you factor in tinkers modifiers too. Or you can use infinity ingots to make a sword doing 9000 damage and with constructs armory you can make tinkers version of the infinity armor. It basically still gives you invincibility and flight (via the armor core pieces) but it trades out some of the other passives of infinity armor for the flexibility of tinkers modifiers. Some add ons also add other tools and extras to be made. Like the aforementioned constructs armory adding armor or say making ex nihilio tools (crook/hammer). I’d be here all day discussing things but again it’s one of those “see what you want and add accordingly” things. Or do like me and add almost all of em. 🤣

no it's not dimension based. On a multiplayer server, if you have the plugin "Multiverse" it creates different worlds with different world settings. E.g., you have two worlds. One has keep inventory on and the other doesn't. You die in the world which doesn't have keep inventory on and respawn in the other world where it does.

@@doriantermini I figured its wasn't supposed to be, but when hosting servers for friends I have run into several instances of it not being global, some of these server were moded, but one was vanilla so not really sure why it was the case, it may differ based on version, may just be a bug, regardless Ive had it happen. Though good to know it wasnt intended, though kind of think its better for it to be individual.

Sadly, the rapier isn't in the 1.16.x version of Tinkers' Construct yet. Only the basic sword and the cleaver so far. Same with the ranged weapons previous versions had.
