I moved out when I was 19. I couldn't wait to leave my hometown and move to a big city, all by myself. I was just sick and tired of everyone, especially my family haha! At first I enjoyed my single apartment life, but quickly became bored. I lived in an apartment complex with mainly families and younger people sharing their flats. I lived alone in my apartment and felt quite isolated, sad and lonely (I am an introvert!), especially with all these people around me living with their friends / families, having parties etc. I moved back home after three years. I am "still" living with my family (I am 24 years old now), but I appreaciate having family nearby so much more, especially since Covid happened. I am more outgoing and just overall happier, because I know that I need company in order to live a fulfilled life. We are social creatures after all!

OMG that sounds great i wish I could say I had the same experience but sadly can’t imagine how that’s even possible haha I moved out with my partner basically right before first lock down thinking it would be so much more freedom and less hassle no more compromises etc but I ended up just feeling like I lost connection to the entire outside world :/ so yea it just made me worse at being alone basically lol but ill actually be moving back in with my partner this year if all goes well😅

I'm at a point in my life where I don't even know if I want to be alone or share a house (with friends or a special person).... it's weird. The only thing I've noticed is that more and more I'm more alone, more depressed, having a harder time deciding what I want (in anything).... basically staying in my bubble. Sometimes I want to get out of that bubble because I see that I can't go on like this but then I remember how good it is to have my peace. Honestly I'm lost in this huge crazy world. Obviously with these high living costs here in England I can't do much that i would love to do. Tips and opinions are very welcome haha

Hey Lana! Congrats for inspiring my first KZfaq comment. You’re actually the only proper Vlogger I follow - I find that the ways we think about life align quite nicely. But the reason I’m commenting is because your timing is uncanny. I just moved out of my shared living in Munich a couple of weeks ago and now I’m also floating around from place to place and working remote until I decide to settle down next. I’m driving around Europe with my dog, currently writing to you from the south of Italy! Have you considered doing van-life for a couple of months or joining a coliving? My take is that one can get more privacy and space than from a “normal” roommate situation while still finding community. At least, that’s what I’m hoping for - I’ll find out next week when I start at my first one in Tuscany.

Hey, Karla! Normally, I would rather not stay positive when Lana posts videos about moving out and buying apartments. Even though, envy creeps into my mind, it's not as intense as it was in October 2020 when Lana uploaded a video about moving out. That moment then forced me to take a break from watching her for 3 months in order to keep my mental health in a good shape somehow. Now, watching her interferes with my life in a way that I can lose myself if I don't remind myself that my or your life is just as valuable as it is even right now.

I never lived alone except for my bachelor years, simply cause of money issues. Had some good flat mates, some bad... But you get to a point where your own 4 walls get incredibly appealing. I think I will never be a homeowner though, simply not gonna happen in the near future financially and apartments the issue is they are also more expensive then living together and you usually miss a lot of stuff, i. E. Kitchen or something. And since I am a introvert I fear I would become more of a shut in than I already am. Having other people around helps with socializing, splitting chores and money for stuff, getting help for whatever and so on. Has its pros and cons. More people love alone than ever and I feel we have become a very individualistic society and that is not necessarily good. A good friend of mine got recently dumped by her boy friend and is on the street literally atm. So this is also why I see moving in with a significant other or building a house together somewhat skeptical. Not without some good contract who is owed what before is my stance atm. I agree on the getting rid of stuff (or getting used stuff. Washing machine is broken? Fox yourself if possible or hunt for a good used one do not need or like your desk or wardrobe anymore? Put it on a ad list or something).

@@tweenastunesShelbizleee did a great video on Temu. It is as you say - this sponsorship isn't in alignment with her usual content, and suprised me too. That's why now, that I saw a great video on the topic, I got back to write a comment and inform people on it. Temu spends soo much money making deficits with purchases just to take over the worldmarket without caring about people or the environment. And all that to make more profit. I hope Lana comments on this issue in the future.

🤔🤍🎥 Hi bb Fred 🐾 Dear Fur Mama; I can resonate with a part of your liberating freedom of living like a gypsy. I was captivated by the tiny house movements back in the days and ventured out to buy small lands in the US to build my first cabin. The goal was to be rent/mortgage free 🏆 I can't put a price tag on time 💰 Since I can live, work and travel anywhere in the world 🌎 Being able to travel to extraordinary places and coffee shops without being slaved to corporations and politics is the most rewarding and liberating life anyone can experience. Focus on YOUrself 💪☕ "The noblest art is that of making others happy." P.T Barnum from the movie The Greatest Showman 🎥

I have a girlfriend, but I do notice sometimes she needs her own space and so do I even we love very much , until I marry her one day and buy a big house. But for now, she lives with her zhih Tzu, which she loves almost as she loves me, we even eat the same food! No joke😅
