Tbh i don’t think that she can even compare with Kokomi anywhere outside of mono-Hydro, like from what we’ve seen Koko’s Hydro application seems way better, and her off-field damage (with clam set) also outshines Sigewinne, so unfortunately Sigewinne really looks like she’s gonna be the next Dehya, not as bad as Dehya, but like the same situation where she can be a solid addition to some teams, but any team she’s in she just feels replaceable (especially without cons)

The Fortress of Meropide really out here giving us the most underwhelming 5 stars from the 4.X patches 😔 (please don’t crucify me Wriothesley/Sigewinne mains)

4 star kit disguised as a 5 star character

I will be pulling for Sigewinne because she is exactly what I need for my very specific circumstances. I want to play Navia. I want some off-field geo for more crystalize shards so I pull Chiori. I need some off-field elements for those shards. I also don't want to farm more than one artifact domain. So I pull Furina. Now I need a healer, ideally one that works for Navia's attack passive. Bennett you say? I hate his circle. Kokomi you say? Another circle. Charlotte or Mika? Don't have em. And look what comes around: exactly the Melusine I need for this funny team.

i think she has the potential to be good but we have to see how she does when she releases first. also kokomi does have onfield roles on other teams and her entire kit is literally to make her a driver during burst, while sigwinne's burst is kinda just.. there. however im glad that you mentioned that sige and koko can coexist and and even benefit each other, hydro girlies helping each other out

Sigwin is super cute and adorable but can't say she is usefull. Even thou my only hydro characters are Mona and Barbara, Sigwin is still too... useless? Unnecessary? Dunno... pulling her feels like a waste.

if she worked with you know, Wriothesley or Neuvillette since they are related to each other, i would've pulled for her immediately but she is more likely to be played with Furina double hydro core most of the time

Nobody is talking about using Sac bow(at least R3) on her. In exchange of less damage buff due to less HP, you won't run out of the convalescence stacks to buff your off-field DPS. I think you can put at least two such roles on the team. AFK team such as Furina, Nahida, Yae or Fischl, do tons of damage. However, I am not sure whether OZ's coordinated attacks(c1&c6)will use SW's stacks if so I won't use Fischl. Also, HB team with Nahida, Furina and Kuki/Raiden should be fine too.

I have spent years grinding for artifacts and level up materials. I’ve pulled for meta. I’ve finished the abyss. Ive used real life money for weapons and to replenish resin. I’ve poured all my time and energy into the broken units with consistent 500k damage. I don’t NEED anymore characters. I just want to have fun again and her aesthetic is everything I’ve wanted since kokomi. I don’t care if she heals enemies. I am going to get her and her weapon and have the time of my life taking pictures of heart bubbles. 💖💖💖

Definitely agree on the premium pull bit. The healer I'm finding myself comparing her to now, after using her for a bit, is Baizhu. Good, but limited number of teams, but most of us are perfectly fine with Yaoyao. Though I'd say Baizhu has more value overall, as he has more teams, and I think his C0 kit is more complete than Siggy's c0. It needs just a little something more. She's sugar and all things nice, but missing the 3rd ingredient of some spice. I think Siggy has two missed opportunities (well, 3, if you count her cool charged shot which is wasted like Yoimiya's) that, if one or the other had been part of her base kit, would have increased her appeal quite a bit, and they're basically her c1 and c2. c2 is the one people probably most focus on, because bigger buff, more charges of the buff, and the hydro resist debuff. And those first two aspects matter. 18 charges is way better than 10, though, in a team with multiple off-field elemental skill users, will be eaten through very quickly. But at c0, with 10 charges, it doesn't feel that impactful. But the other one that I think tends to be overlooked is c1. 3 extra bubble bounces, and the first bounces don't shrink the powered up bubble. This means 3 extra imprisons. And if you've watched the video, you've seen Siggy imprison lots of wussy mobs, and those are the mobs we naturally think of. But she can also imprison Fatui operatives and maidens, as well as some others and certain eremites. And there is value in imprisoning those guys and gals. However, at c0, 2 charged up bounces, 4s... not really worth the hold E. But with C1, now you have up to 5 bounces, or 10s of prison time. People talk about bubbling the hydro mages, but let me tell you, it's far more gratifying to deny the frost maidens the ability to move, and an imprisoned anemo fatui operative is way less annoying as well. And even for various trash mobs, 5 imprisons is just nice. This is actually my favorite part of her kit.

I am still pulling Sigewinne no matter what negative things people are saying about her kit. I pull characters for character personality, design, the most importantly, SHE IS SOOO ADORABLE!!!

Sigewinne's kit feels like it's designed for people too lazy to learn better character rotations so they are just pulling a character instead of learning how to rotate efficiently Even Dehya has a good place on stagger-heavy (Lyney and SImilar) and melt teams, Sigewinne just has a place if you have a bad habit of not pressing R2 with your Arlecchino or Clorinde.

I quit Genshin in 4.2 and now I returned because I have nothing else to play at the moment. During the break I cut myself from any Genshin news, content and its fandom and now I have no idea what new characters I missed, what characters are upcoming and who to save for. Good for my wallet I guess because I have no one to pull for. Edit: After I've heard that she's good for my girl Furina I am now considering pulling for her but I have a reliable Kokomi already and the question whether to pull for Siegwinne or not depends on what characters are going to be released/have a rerun in the near future.

She is awefully adorable. I still want to know who is banging Melusines to make her look half human. As a proud owner and constant user of Kokomi, I am skipping out poor little Sigewinne. I really wanted her too. But I'm saving it all up for Murata. I will pick her up later on a rerun maybe. I just don't see the point in having another hydro healer right now except for a future abyss and ill worry about thar when the time comes. It is bad enough Hoyo already duped me into rolling for Clorinde this patch.

Furina is going to carry the banner

i thought sigwinnie was super cute when i first heard about her. i desperately needed hydro so i was looking forward to her release. When the bond of life mechanics were revealed, the gimmick put me off, since i'm fairly new to the game. Then seeing that furina was gonna run alongside her basically made it so I no longer have reason to pull for winnie. The nail in the coffin was finding out that sigwinnie was melusine in name only. I would have rather had a full on melusine character.

She is adorable. And she might just tempt my partner to return from his Genshin break (I was supposed to take a break too but I'm not in love with Astarion). So i like her but I cant justify pulling for her. I'll try her out, of course, and that could change my mind if I get what I need from the other banner and still have wishes left. We will see. Short Answer: Yes Skip Sigewinne. Infact i totally forgot that her banner is coming up since she is running next to Furina. And I already have a C2 Furina, so this is really a Dead Banner.

Sigewinne applies hydro like twice during her ult, her E is slow if you want to fully charge it (just assuming you don't) but during that and if you use her Q you'll lose Xq/Yelan procs during that time...I don't think this is going to outperform Kokomi in mono hydro, not that this team is anything insane.

I play mono hydro. Furina, neuv c3 r1, barbara noblesse, and kokomi...kazuha in mono teams. Fake mono...mono = one. That sigewinne c2 sounds nice... Di team? Last time i checked, Anemo is still an element Speaking of mono teams. I have c6 itto r2 Would be nice if hoyo released a geo buffer and the c0 is as good as c6 gorou. Meaning if I c6 the geo support, it will be better than gorou. And what the crazy part is, gorou and that geo support can work TOGETHER to boost itto. Not a fan of sigewinne but seeing the E creating water droplets for my neuv...I feel like I'll get 1 copy of her and wait till her rerun with better 4 stars on it.

Sigewinne kinda feels like Dehya, Kokomi, Noelle and C6 Dori. Defensive units with On field DPS type burst or skill. except Kokomi, Noelle and Dori did things right since they bring more things than just damage, such as application and teamwide Healing. it kinda sucks i kinda wished she was a 4 star since the 4 star hydro roster is pretty lacking. honestly, her true advantages against kokomi are: A. She's not circle impact B. Teamwide heals through the skill C. She buffs off field Elemental Skills damage D. She Can Crit(though this advantage is mostly because of Fav.) But some of these just don't feel like advantages either, The bubble looks slow, and her damage isn't that great either and her buffing isn't that good. like you're better off getting furina cons if high investment is your thing. if i have to guess her best teams would be Taser teams with Yae+Fischl or Yae Quickbloom teams with Nahida and Furina since Yae and Fischl use alot of their skills. Furina Forward Vape looks like she want to be with a healer from a different element. Maybe natlan will give some love to her, but... i'd rather have unit that's good or functional from the getgo than something like dehya. Mono hydro seems interesting but.. i'm not sure about it since yelan is also a big contributor for the team and not being able to proc with her Dice with sigewinne can be an issue.

When was the last time we had a 5 star that was this “bad” / had such lack of interest? Using the word bad because too lazy to go more in depth lol

just pull her, the Meta is for beginner gacha game players anyway(I stopped playing meta since patch 1.1). and she is a DPS healer, though I have just started building her, just recently got her to lvl 80. I put her in my main team, mainly for favorites, but will swap her in situations I cannot use her in, which is fighting enemies immue to hydro damage(such as Hydro slimes, Hydro Spectres, Hydro Hypostasis, the Hydro Eidolon world boss, the OCeanid, and the Hydro eidolons).

I'm thinking that in the future they are only going to run Kokomi in the Chronicaled wish banner to force players to spend more primos/money. If players want a good healer with good hydro application, they will be forced spend primos on a banner that doesn't carry pity over. They purposely made Sigewinne's base kit terrible in a scummy attempt to squeeze more money out of players. They could have easily made Sigewinne more valuable by making her hydro shield part of her base kit. Basically, if you want Sigewinne to be decent, you'll have to go for her C1 and C2.

If they release a Hydro unit that applies AoE hydro every second and the skill/burst lasts at least 15 seconds, that's the unit to get. We need better Hydro applicators

I think a ton of CC's are way more negative about her abilities than is deserved, but as a premium pull with a really meh design. I'm not at all against dropping pulls on a niche character, I main Yoimiya after all, but "odd half-Melusine Chibi onfielder" is about as low on my interest list as can be. I *am* really glad she'll be functional for people who like her, one of my friends is crazy about her and I'm glad it's not super hard to find a use case, but I'm definitely also glad she's not meta defining in any way. I can just skip her and promptly forget she exists... (I AM super interested in her story quest though, to figure out why she's all ... weird like that)

Totally going to C6R5 Sigewinne. Been saving for over a year ever since her design was leaked January of last year. I'm not going to run her with Furina, lol. She's going in my non-meta jank team to carry everyone in overworld exploration. That and I want to do some shenanigans in co-op.

I think Emilie (Dendro off-field sub-dps) and the Pyro archon (speculated to be off-field dps) will make Sigewinne better over time thanks to her passive.

Im convinced shes going to be mid as fuck. Being a Kokomi sidegrade is fine and all but like you said theres just no incentive to pull for her. Kokomi can do everything she can and even as a premium "upgrade" Im not even convinced she is actually an upgrade even in Furina double Hydro teams.

Unless you use a navia, chiori, furina, siegwinne she's going to be lacking hard. She is best with furina and ONLY furina. Her hydro application sucks more than Barbara's off field [impressive feat], tries to be an on field dps and off field support unit like dehya but failing hard [kokomi already does this and does it BETTER because of how her kit works], and her hydro application being less than Furina's for a HYDRO UNIT is not ok. I already use mika in an overvape yoiyima team using yelan and xingqiu. He doesn't interfere with reactions. He also gives atk speed and party wide healing + self healing at the tap of a burst. I dont need siegwinne who doesn't provide anything but healing for said team but requires a ton of on field time in the first place. For a 5 star unit I expected better but she feels like a 4 star and should of been a 4 star. I would of been fine with that. But no! Because "hydro" they ALWAYS try to force them into a 5 star role..

My theory is that they plan to put Siegwinne in the standard banner and they didn't want to make her too good.

okay this is comment is just gonna word vomit but BUT, what if sigewinne was a true battle healer, like if she was a main dps + healer, her skill would put her into a a state that her charged instead of her bow she would hold her gun and when she shots a bubble and when she shoots it, she heals every teammate but consumes her hp, maybe her ult she would make i really big bubble and when it pops she does dmg and heals her, i think having her have a way for her to increase max hp as well would be cool

I think what pretty much everyone forgets about with Sigewinne is that Kokomi hasn't rerun is a long while. There's so many people like myself who haven't been playing long enough to have her yet because of the player base getting so much larger around Fontaine, so to us, there is no competition, Sigewinne is just an improvement. There isn't much of a reason to have them both but there's absolutely no reason not to get her if you don't have Kokomi.
