For the food scraps: Compost bins work better. They smell sometimes but they’re quite easy to get the hang of. You can also put things like dryer lint, grass, and leaves into the bin, making it useful for lots of things. Some of these are relatively harmless, I just think making food out of food scraps and rubbing things into your skin is a little gross.
