These new 2020 animal compacts from the Polly Pocket Big Pocket World series are absolutely adorable! The characters are much improved, with the signature hinge making a comeback. That's right, no more Pollystick! The animal figures also have hair that you can comb which is very reminiscent of the vintage Pollies. I think they are improving ALOT more with the detail the ones from 2017-2019 didn’t have alot if detail but these are giving the 90s vibes more

I think the reason why they don't do the polly stick anymore is because over time the feet loses it's stick, even when you put it on the sticker. I have the tiny baby compact and tiny sewing compact and that's what happened to me lol.

They say you just have to wash the feet with soap and it'll restick. But yeah not a fan of the silicone legs.

You can also get a piece of tape and apply it to the bottom of the feet to get them to re stick!

I'm late to this vid but I absolutely love these , and the hinge is back . I also like how the skirt fits , it's very seamless especially compare to the previous clothing accessories which doesn't really fit as well as theses ones

I got the corgi one it's so cute I love it, but I wish the corgi and the weiner were removable from the platform so we could use them as figures like the other 2 dogs in the set!

I finally got them, and the good news is all the dogs from corgie set can be removed from their pegs! You just wiggle them until they come off and then you can put them back on their pegs any time.

@@Kerchie there is some glue there, but it is not super strong. Dogs are resin so they are easy to remove from hard plastic pegs. I also removed the cow from the piggy set, the peg there is taller but also manageable.

The new dolls look so good!! They feel like new and improved pollys now, where theyve modernized the dolls, while still keeping the old feel with the hinges. I prefer these so much more than the sticky lower halves of the other newer dolls. I'm definitely gonna have to go and buy the Hedgehog one ASAP!! So precious

@@Kerchie One thing I noticed actually while rewatching this is I feel like they're meshing both of the different types of old polly pockets. I never really got to experience the ORIGINAL hinge polly pockets. The ones that I grew up with were the slighter larger, more barbie-esq pollies, that had all kinds of rubber clothes that you stretched to put on them. The clothes included in these sets almost feels like it might be a nod to the people who grew up with those polly pockets too??

You look adorable as always Kerchie! The new Polly dolls in these sets don’t look bad. I agree with your points. They seem like an improvement, despite not always being able to stand well. So, have you thought of repainting any more of your Polly Pocket playsets? :)

Thank you! I will do a repaint soon. I actually shoot my videos 4 at a time because taking out all my filming equipment in my tiny room is cumbersome, so the repaint didn't make this round but I want to do it for the next round.

i like them a lot but I must admit they do remind me of legos because of the hinge. Like just the way they move is very reminiscent of lego figurines. I love the new polly’s especially the pink haired one and I love the silicone clothes bc the big polly has silicone clothes💞✨

I like the double purposing of the comb and windmill but the comb fence could have a hinge and I didn't get that it was a windmill at first because of how bright pink it is are the farm animals glued to their spots ?

I recently bought the piggy compact but mine is more of a hot pink. Did you adjust your video colors to be more pastel or did they used a different plastic later on? 🐷🐽

I didn't adjust my video but I do use very bright lights. Mine isn't super pastel but it's not hot pink either.

These are my fav compacts from the new line so far. I got them all. They also have two smaller compacts on Walmart and a larger purse compact on amazon. I really hope they make micro mini’s bc those are soooo adorbs.

They def improved some things. when the doll was unable to sit down they must have realized it was a bad idea (before launch). What were they thinking. Still some other things to improve. I got a set with a bunck of glue sticking out and terrible printing. Mattel should be giving you free Polly Pocket sets for such a good reviews on them.

IMHO youre being overly nice about the quality of these newer range toys. Hinge is back and more mobility, sure, took them long enough. But they shouldnt have changed the size of the dolls or reduced the interior detail in the compacts. What do you think?
