I've met him and what you construe as humility is actually a superiority complex. He invented this and this was my innovation ect.. that's not humility. Plus his tone and speed sounds garbled and uninteresting like yngwie. Speed is not always the answer. Taste and tone. Where to add a bend or hitting a note or a third in a certain way. Listen to Angel Vivaldi. That's a humble dude and absolutely amazing . He couples speed with tonality and technique. Guthrie Govan. Same thing.

@ryanflemming4643 жыл бұрын
Yeah gotta say I think Jared took this one lol. MAB is an innovator and cool to watch, but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh that first run he did "traditionally" on the 7-string was just not clean at all. Scratchy, it was definitely at lightspeed but it seemed like he was fudging most of the runs for the sake of being fast, and wasn't in key to the backing track for 90% of it... when he flipped to double-neck guitars it was extremely simple tapping riffs... no direspect to either man, he's a better guitarist than I am bassist, but I just wasn't feeling his contribution at all.

For the 1st playthrough Jared was far superior but then with the double neck....... Michael just flew to high heaven with that technique and phrasing. Blew my mind again. But Jared has some incredible melodic phrasing and excellent tone which makes me want to get that signature guitar..... GAS ⛽. Also when Michael did that whole upside down thing I was just like gotta get me some more tapping lessons...... Truefire... Sponsorship idea 💡.

and no wonder he is underrated, sometimes he plays like he did in the first solo and that sounds horrendous. The other solos were decent tho.

You came a long way from making guitar videos, drum spoof videos, and now to this. Not only is M.A.B. a legend but you will be up there to one day. Think of how many you have inspired and how many you will inspire in the future. Long live the support of the real musicians who are doing their best to keep it alive. Keep up your beautiful work Truly inspirational. Thank you .also to Rob Schallon Stevie T. And the whole you tube musician family

Not only is MAB an amazing guitarist, but I met him back in ‘09 and he was a really nice guy, too. Then, about 2 months ago I noticed his KZfaq channel and commented about meeting him and he still took the time to respond. His music isn’t to everyone’s taste, sure, but the awesome guy he is can’t be overstated and this this man is truly deserving of anyone’s respect he earns.
