My homemade version of Shrimp Egg Foo Young is better to me than the Chinese restaurant. First of all, I know what is in it. Second you can put anything you really like in and that includes shrimp, beef, pork, chicken or anything else you can think of...or nothing but vegetables if you like. It is full of vitamins and protein and fiber if you use bean sprouts. It's also a light dinner, lunch or you can eat it for breakfast. Give this recipe a try...I'm telling you'll be making this dish often.

Recipe
5 to 6 Eggs
Cooking oil to cover the bottom of pan
1/4 teaspoon of Sesame seed oil
1/2 cup of bean sprouts
1medium chopped onion
Chopped scallions - As much as you want
1 pound of shrimp raw and cleaned
( if large shrimp, cut to bite size piece)
1/4 of crushed beef bouillon cube
GRAVY
1 and 1/2 tablespoon of Oyster Sauce
1 and 1/4 tablespoon of Hoisin Sauce
1 tablespoon of low sodium Soy sauce
3 tablespoons of all purpose flour
3 tablespoons of butter
2 cups of beef broth
1/4 of crushed bouillon cube
