​@@wamerteen780in korea schools really do nothing against bullying though. i am actively working as a teacher in korea rn & it's really upsetting. one of my students was being bullied & i took it to my boss & my boss was like "what did he do to make them treat him that way? he should avoid that behaviour moving forwards"... like just ZERO repercussions to the bullies in any fundamental way. i can stop it in my classroom, but that is one class every other day... it feels hopeless. he ended up moving schools because his bullies tormented him so much. when i again brought this up to my boss as a big issue he was like "it happens". so infuriating. & parents, generally, also don't care very much. there's a kind of "it was worse for me so why can't you withstand at least this much?" attitude in a lot of older people.
