Huskies are amazing once they have finished training you its great ,they like a early start, good quality food , they like to keep you fit , make you laugh ,suffer periods of extreme deafness , best friend you will ever have

Its basically like having a teenage daughter but in dog form. Constantly going against you and rebelling but missing you when you are gone. 🤷🏼‍♂️ For how wild and independent they are, I found them to be a lot less aggressive than a majority of other dog breeds.

I have a Siberian husky she’s almost 2 yrs old she’s awesome she is good at keeping me in shape if I’m busy a lot and don’t take her on a long walk or to the doggy park almost daily boy she will ignore me makes me feel guilty a lot to leave her for long at home but I just love how she listens so easily she’s been the best dog I could ask for only problem I have is she’s not food motivated so she’s extremely picky I have trouble with feeding her at times other than that she’s the best dog ever ❤❤❤

I once had a husky. She was my 1st dog & there was never a dull moment. We both loved to exercise. I used to have sing a long with Tanya. We would both howl together.

My experience from the three I have had is that the Husky maybe moreso than any dog breed enjoys being defiant, testing the limits of what they can get away with against you, pretending not to hear commands and playful temper tantrums of "But I dont wanna" are especially patience testing in the adolescent Huskies but even an old dog can have Trickster streak under all that endlessly shedding fur.

And that there is what gives them their unmistakeable and loveable personality. It’s best to accept that a siberian husky isn’t a dog, it’s some sort of velociraptor + toddler combo.

Great video. My husky Whiskey has been an amazing companion over the years. He is people/pack motivated. Loves to be around others and hogs all the attention. Best dog I ever had.

My Husky has been best dog I’ve ever had! He has been incredibly easy to train and I don’t think I’d get another breed after him!! I’ve had a Great Dane, a German Shepard, an Aussie and an Akita. The Siberian Husky has been the out of the bunch. A lot of people base opinions on the breed by rescues which is ridiculous because they’re usually untrained and come with trauma, so yeah of course any dog in that situation is going to be difficult.

I recently adopted a very young pit husky mix and seeing as he's adopted more of a husky personality this is super interesting to learn! I really hope to do right by him ☺️

The fenced yard made me chuckle. My husky has a vertical jump of 11 ft. Up and over any fence and he is gone

Some one once complimented my husky and i at the park for being well-trained, because he followed me everywhere off leash. I replied, “he’s not well-trained, he’s just clingy” 😂

I had 5 purebred Alaskan Malamutes before I got my husky, and they were fabulous dogs, wonderful in every way. As similar as they look and in spite of other similarities between the two breeds, huskies are unquestionably still a unique breed apart. My Mika is the SUPERLATIVE dog. I love their independence and strong will because they're like me in that respect. He has everything I want in a canine companion and is breathtakingly beautiful as well.

I have a Siberian she's beautiful 🤍💯❗️My only issue is containing the high prey drive under control. She wasn't brought up with cats. However, she can be fine with them from a short distance and sometimes in a controlled environment up close. She will have moments where her brain like a switch which can be unpredictable somewhat like a silent sniper goes into prey drive & may want to pounce on the other creatures so I do my best and keep them separated. She even wiggled out of her harness to get a Stray cat that was underneath a car, but my quick reflexes grabbed her by the collar and separated her from her desired prey. So I say this to any husky owner be observant in their behaviors bc u may never be able to take their prey drive away, but it's best to keep it under control for the safety of smaller creatures.

I have two brothers whose mom was a black lab (probably a mix) and their dad is a husky saint bernard mix. I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out which breed is presenting more in their temperament, but I feel like their orneriness is from their husky traits xD -- it's funny how different they are from one another.

Never leave a child alone with a dog. For many reasons, but mainly because of the child is hurt, the dog cannot explain what happened and children lack the social grace to clearly explain what happened (mostly a child is bad with the dog).
