Boy, Ash, Turin & Ava are sure efficient enough to help Landon in the car on the way to the hospital. It would be good if Landon could have a brain surgery, cause I used to have seizures (for a while, every two weeks) when I was his age, but 22 years ago, in 2000, I had brain surgery at the amazing clinic called Mayo Clinic. I’m glad he doesn’t have to be admitted to the hospital. I wish I could help you guys & be a friend that you guys know. 😃 🙏🏻

I'm glad Landon is ok and so happy he has 3 siblings that loves him so much. 3 little angels watching over him taking care of him all the time. They love him so much that is so neat to see and hear about. That is something to be so proud about to.

I have a story for you. When I was 17 years old I went to my doctor in August for a normal check up and my Dr suggested that since I haven’t had a seizure in over 3 years, she decided to take me off of them to “see” if I could possibly not use meds for my seizures. Bit was she wrong! I went 6 months without meds (including tapering off of my meds) and I was at my friends house just having a normal day about to go with her to a barn or something and I was in the shower and started having my “warning” which happens before my seizures ( technically it’s a focal seizure before I started actually seizing) and I immediately got out of the shower and got dressed. I then went into my friends room and told her I wasn’t feeling well and that I had started feeling like I was gonna have a seizure. (FYI she did not know I had them because they were so controlled prior to tapering off of my meds) so she was sorta panicky and scared and I told her to not do that because it makes it worse for me. I then called my aunt to tell her what was going on and to pick me up. She told me it was probably not that bad and to relax. I told her it was much more serious and ti come get me asap because I felt it was going to be a BAD one. So, while she’s hauling butt to my friends house I sit down and have my friend and her dad support me in case I fall over and start seizing badly. And within 5 minutes (I live 10 minutes away from my friend) she gets there, and I go home, but I’m now feeling like I cannot walk well and need help getting to the car and so my friends day helps me as well as my aunt to get to the car. My aunt and I drive away to go home and as we are half way home I start to seize all over and it freaked my aunt out so badly that she was screaming my name ti get me to respond but I wasn’t so she calls 911 and and ambulance takes me to the hospital where I’m looked over by a very grouchy nurse who has a sour attitude. And when my aunt Becky meets my aunt at the hospital, she’s there not even 20-40 minutes and sees my foot twitch then my body starts full on seizing again and nurse and drs are working to stop the seizure and calls my Dr to see what they want to do with me so she suggests I go to the childrens hospital to get a better treatment for this so they load a lot of anti seizure meds into my body and then I go to the other hospital at like 2:30 am and I wake up in the hospital to nurses asking me a ton of questions like “who is the president?” “Do you know where you’re at right now?” “What’s the date today?” And I yell at them to leave me alone and to let me sleep lol 😂. Then the same day a bunch of drs come in to assess me and my cognitive skills and I was okay for now and ti start a new medication. And now we are here.

You guys a blessing you help me know to teach my kids what to do when I have a seizure. The sound of running water help and mashing me helps reset my central nervous system. My husband if over a hundred pound than me. But it does help a lot. Best of luck I love all of you

I went through a period of having seizures and discovered some time later that 2 meds I was taking mix badly together. Stopped one and seizures stopped. Love your children they really are great kids.

It's wonderful that the other kids rally to help little Lando. I pray he will grow out of this, it's hard on him as well as the family. But it does teach the kids to be more compassionate and helpful. God bless little Lando, all I can do is pray he grows out of this like many do.

My son started having seizures at 4 and had a very similar ones to Landon’s. We tried 8 different epilepsy meds, but none seemed to stick. About 17 months ago, we started Asher on the ketogenic diet through Childrens Hospital of Philly, and he has been seizure free for over a year. Not only that, but he has his quality of life back! We would have never thought that something like changing the food he ate would make such a difference! We are praying for Landon and your family!
