Real talk here; this is Our Life In Holland. Today was challenging no doubt and 90% we did not film for our own privacy and that of Landons but today was a small glimpse into the meaning behind our channel. Finding joy in the unexpected, rolling with the punches of life, finding peace and strength through challenging times. So grateful for our precious son Landon and his unstoppable attitude. So grateful for an older brother Turin and twin brother Ashton who were there in a moment of need to take care of their brother with love and calmness. So grateful for a reliable and selfless friend Clay‪@themcneelfam6661‬ for always being there to help. While today had its challenges our hearts are full of gratitude.

I am so glad that Turin is so aware and is good at sensing what was happening. He has a amazing ability at such a young age to know and doesn't delay. It's also great to have an amazing neighbor like Clay too to help. You are great parents to all your children. Great family!

If Marvel had a make your own super hero Landon would be it. Someone who could take pain and turn it into laughter. It's now proven fact that laughter is the best medicine. You are one of the toughest kids I have ever seen. You're an inspiration to use all Landon.

He is such a warrior… and brave…. He motivates me as a disabled person to not to give up and keep moving forward and no matter what comes at you, fight and have a sensor of humor. Love you Landó. Keeping fighting, your are so awesome… love the hair!!

Watching him get his perm, I definitely noticed him being off. He was acting differently. You are blessed to have such an aware and compassionate teenager in Turin. Please tell him, "he rocks"!

My nephew was 4 when he started to get seizures just like Landon the awake ones and the big ones . They told him he could stop the meds when he was 18 . As soon as he stopped his meds he had really bad seizures . Needless to say he went back on the meds . He is now 25 and still takes his meds and finally can drive again because he has been seizure free for 2 years . Please don’t push to take him off those meds . Landon is one tough dude and that fresh perm is on point ! Stay strong Landon !

Praying for a speedy recovery period Landon. I suffer from a seizure disorder and know first hand how difficult it is to shake off a seizure storm. I agree that your sense of humor will help you heal quickly.

I love that handsome boy Landon. He is just always in a good mood even when he is in the hospital. We have also been living a life in Holland for the last 10 years. My youngest daughter who is 20 now was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes Type 1 when she was 10 years. It was the worst day of my life. She might have weighed 60 pounds then. We had no idea how she was diagnosed with it as it didn't run in our families. Most ppl assume diabetes is caused by being over weight and or just old but that is Diabetes Type 2. Type 1 and 2 are much different from each other. She has days where her sugar can be high or low. Her pancreas died on her causing her to be a juvenile diabetic because the pancreas is our way of controlling our sugar intake. My daughter has had an insulin pump attached to her side of the stomach for the last 10 years. Maybe this is why I have loved u all from the very beginning 2 years ago

I remember last video even thinking to myself right at the point where she asks Landon to look at his perm in the mirror for the first time that Landon didn't seem too steady. He's been doing so well with his balance that it just didn't seem right. Sure hope everything is all over and done with for the moment. May they all be well.

It had to be so scary getting the call when you weren't close to home. Turnin is a great brother and it is nice to have great friends like clay and that he was able to come over and help until you got home. Landon is so tough and is nice he is able to joke during something like that.

I’ve got medication for my fits I’ve got to take epialn and lots of other meds . I’ve not had a seizure for a few years now. I hope Landon will be able to not have any more seizures. We love you guys and hope you’re all ok . Landon is amazing. Well done Turin. Love Lisa and Chris from uk

Seizures are so hard to deal with but you and Lando are doing amazingly well! As someone who battles with seizures and epilepsy as well, here’s one of my favorite quotes by Carol O’Connor ““It's the character that is the strongest that God gives the most challenges to. And you can take that as a compliment” ❤️

I couldn’t say it better that you did because I have them and when I do have one weather I’m timing it by myself or I have someone with me it’s always harder with someone with me because I can do it just look at their faces mostly their eyes and it scares me. When I’m timing by myself it’s a little easier but when it comes to telling someone I had a seizure I just start to breakdown

Hey, I totally get your point and where you are coming from. But I have issues with you saying that seizures are the ONLY medical condition that you can 100% cure. I myself suffer from at least 3 incurable disease and there are some many more out there, too many to put in to numbers. So yeah, I totally agree Landon is so brave and is such a strong boy, especially for what he has been through at such a young age. Next time I just pray that you don’t make things seem as though they are the only ones that exist. Acknowledgement and inclusivity is always nice. 😊

Landon is so strong and courageous. I'm sure he has days where he feels life isn't treating him fairly ( and I appreciate the fact that you don't show his vulnerable moments) but he has the most fantastic attitude. No matter what he is going through, he finds something positive about it. I could see him being a children's advocate or an inspirational speaker when he is grown. I have no doubt he will use his testimony to help others.

God gave Lando to you because He knew how loved and cared for he would be under your care. You know when to lighten things up, you handle him and teach everyone how to be with him and what to do with a child that has such issues. If I saw a person having a seizure, I wouldn't know what to do. He is one lucky kid to have such a team behind him.

Hello My name is Sherry Lane. I was born with spastic cerebral palsy that effects only my legs and walking. I was also diagnosed with grand mal seizures when I was 13. My seizures stopped when I was 25, after my brain was fully developed and the lession in my brain which caused the seizures had healed. So keep holding on to the hope and possibility that Landon's seizures will stop as mine did. I will be celebrating my 61st birthday tomorrow, April 6th, also the first day of General Conference!

As a Mom of a son who has a seizure disorder and heart pacemaker, we have been lucky that the medication he has been on for about 18 years works. He is now out on his own but still my baby boy! Sending hugs to Landon!

Glad Lando is doing better. Must have been scary for Turbo, but he’s a great big brother to be there for his baby brother. My special needs brother was walking down his stairs and started having a seizure and fell down the stairs and did some serious spinal cord damage. He had surgery and to this day is still doing physical therapy and can't move his arms and legs very good. This happened in June of this year. It's so hard watching his life change and ours. He will never be like he was before. My prayers go out to you all💗

I noticed that too. But I don’t think the hospital would have released him if it was still seizure activity. He may have nystagmus which causes the eyes to jerk back and forth like that.

It is so hard to see your kid go through this kind of stuff. Our son has been a lot better now he is a adult and his hormones are settling. I hope Lando is doing great. Always scarry to see your brother go through this
