hahah yeah thats true, although I'm not sure anyone has fully circumnavigated the island in an ape before.. although knowing Sicilians I wouldn't be surprised :)

La bellezza della Sicilia alla velocità dei nostri nonni, passando da Taormina ai vicini paesi costieri e montani della misteriosa costa Ionica, tanto cara agli dei dell'antica Grecia 🧜🏼‍♂️ da Furci Siculo a Nizza di Sicilia, Sant'Alessio Siculo, Savoca, Forza d'Agrò, Alì Terme, attraversando la costa Ionica e la storia dell'umanità. Qui ad esempio, l'Ape è un fedele "animale da lavoro" retaggio della cultura contadina ancora forte nei nostri territori, i piccoli borghi montani, un tempo solcati da calessi, hanno misure e pendenze che un mezzo piccolo come l'Ape può gestire egregiamente. Si potrebbe dormire nel cassone, e guardare dai tanti belvedere, l'Alba sullo Stretto di Messina prima che venga deturpato dal ponte 😊

Love this trailer. Saw it through LinkedIn. Timing is beautiful. Shots are scenic. I am surprised you have any footage left!!! What crew size and budget was this production? Amazing work

Thanks so much! Hopefully you will enjoy the series! This series was another zero budget.. meaning I payed for the trip myself and bought the ape myself. Filming was done entirely by me with 5 different cameras.. cinema camera, stills camera, gopros, drone and a 360 camera. I did the trip truly by myself so I was wearing all the hats in regards to production.

Nice video but my parents were there on vacation and had a terrible time. They were treated poorly because they didn't speak English or Italian. They got robbed at their hotel: Capo Peloro Resort. 1700 Euros! It's a tourist trap.

Im very sorry to hear that! I guess like anywhere you can always find bad people unfortunately. Hopefully someday they can revisit and have a better experience 👍🏽
