@@gaslampnation735 I didn't run any of those but I can tell you that 180gr hollow points will not work in it either. I tried Underwood and Sigs own 10mm ammo. They get hung up in the magazine and you can literally just turn it upside down and let them fall out. I sold it two weeks after I purchased it.

@@Supercharged1976 They haven't fixed anything with that. Watch at 13:00 where he is loading the mag. He gets 6 rounds in, then starts having to hammer them in after that because they are hanging in the mag release notch. Compare an XTen mag to an M&P mag. The mag release notch is twice as big on the Sig. That is why they have feed issues.

I have to agree!!!! ol' Hickok45 is one of the reasons why I applied for my gun permit last summer, as I always wanted to take up target shooting as a kid!!! not to mention, that Sig Sauer makes some damn good pistols anyway, as I currently own a P320 myself but chambered in 9mm (as the 10mm hadn't been released yet). and this is coming from someone who's also more of a Beretta fan as well

Since this firearm reminds Mr Hickok of the deagle, I want to share that we lost a great man last week. I have the privilege of knowing the family of John Risdall, co-inventor of the Desert Eagle. He was a wonderful human being and ushered in a ton of gun, (and gun rights) enthusiasm over the years. He told me once how Arnold and Sly would call him to request firearms for their films back in the 80s. RIP John. And thank you H45 for the wonderful content over the past ten years. Your dedication and humble manner keep the rest of us going. 🙏

I haven’t tried a 10mm but I love my P320 9mm. It’s a nice size for both CC and hobby range shooting. Def my fave of all the guns I’ve tried to far.

The P320 is a Very good Handgun. I own a P320 x compact. I also own a full size Glock 17. But even though the Glock is a full Size Gun , I shoot the P320 so much better.

I purchased an X ten a little over a month ago. I also own a p320 M18 love both The 10mm is really powerful but the M18 is still my favorite it's just perfect but I'm really enjoying the X ten. Your right about the almost weighted feeling upon drawing but man it really helps with recoil. Nice work SIG!

Have you had any issues loading the full 15 rounds of hollow points into the mag? Fmj I have zero issues, every brand of hollows I've tried hasn't let me load more than 13 or 14 at a time maximum

@Deagle5000AE yep, he's got plenty to shoot at from close range all the way to what looks to be about 100 yards or so. I think the only other Guntuber whose range comes close would be Demo. He's got plenty of targets for the close stuff, then he's got the 100 yarder off to the side.

I have the 9mm compact version and I love this gun... very reliable, weight is damn near perfect, easily concealable and comfortable, and most importantly you get the Sig brand at Glock prices considering a lot of these Sig's get very pricy

I love my M&P 2.0 10mm with a 4.625 inch barrel and use a 508T Holosun solar panel backup red dot with a C&H Precision aluminum mounting plate. I turn it off and use the optic height iron sights through the Holosun glass. Love it!!!

I never cared much for Sig (always loved my Glocks/CZs/Berettas) until my dad got a P320 M18. I was impressed with it enough that when I went for a subcompact that would be slightly larger than my Beretta Nano and smaller than my Glock 19, I went with the P365XL over the 43X. The thing I love about them now is the FCU and all the frame options. I now have mine in a tungsten weighted Wilson Combat module, and it is phenomenal. I’d love to do the same with a XTen. Still trying to decide between it and a Glock 20 MOS though.

Have been shooting 10mm since the early 90's when I purchased a S&W 1006 for a duty weapon. I still own it today along with a Glock 29 which I use as a CC in my rotation. Disappointed that you didn't mention the Smith, which was a tank of a handgun. It was the first 10mm that would hold up to continued use and hot loads unlike the Colt Delta and Bren 10s (I have no experience with the Bren). Would love to see you do a video of the Smith and Wesson 1006 or any of their 10xx series if you could get possession of one.

Another great video. As soon as I saw this video come on-line I was excited to watch it. I love 10 mm too & own 2 10 mm pistols (Glock 20 with a KKM threaded barrel & a Springfield Ronin Elite 1911 in 10mm & both are super reliable). Love em both, but don't see a need for another one. LWRoad had the malfunctions with the longer bullets. I love his channel too!

I have fired a 10 mm Glock at the range. It's an absolute nail driving hammer for sure. Speaking for myself only, I found the frame size just to big for my hands and the recoil uncomfortable for me. I've nothing against the 10 mm but for me the most comfortable round is the 9 mm for plinking and my every day carry. I have a couple Sig P228's and a P239, really like them they feel so good in my hand. When it comes to my carry gun, it's always going to be one of my Glocks, either my 43, 26, or 19, depending on what I'm wearing. I go with the Glock as I know it's going to go bang every time I pull the trigger. That's the most important thing in a carry gun as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not usually one for plastic framed striker fired pistols, though I'd pick one of them over an old school 1911 or revolver any day if I had to bet my life on one, but between the slab sided profile of the P320, the gorgeous long 127mm barrel and slide, and the power of the 10mm, this is one of the few polymer striker pistols I'm now genuinely interested in.

Same thing with my X-Ten...point of aim on the bullseye, point of impact was always low. Got an optic for it now and gives me more confidence to hit point of aim now.

My only experience with the 10 millimeter automatic pistol is some gunsmithing I did on a Been Ten during the 1980s. I had to weld up two splits in the side of the frame and then the remachine the repair areas. The tough part was matching the stainless steel to the welds and then test fire it to make sure the welds would hold. The 10mm cartridge had quite a lot of recoil to it; a lot more than a .45 ACP. Accuracy was good to about 75 yards then the groups began to open up. Nice shooting Hickok!

I'm now kind of sorry that I passed on the XTen when they were available in our state. The timing was just bad with the 10 rd mag limits about to go into place in my state and I knew that additional 15 rd magazines were near impossible to source anyplace. So I passed, and now I kind of regret that choice. Felt great in-hand to me, and the noticeable heaviness over my G20 didn't bug me. As a woods gun I'd likely carry it in a chest rig like I do my G20 and my GP100 before that. Balanced in the middle of my torso instead of off to one side when worn on the hip, The price wss also a factor, the dealer was selling the gun at the time for almost $1k. That's almost $400 over whet I paid on the Glock! So I guess I'll have to struggle on with my G20. Thanks to my 10mm Banshee I've actually got some 25 rounders from SGM that will run in the ol' Glock.

If it still runs it’s clean enough! I give mine a shot of break clean here and there to wash it out, throw some lube in and get back to it. The white glove treatment I learned in basic is just not necessary, if your running them hard one of the best lubes on a budget is heavy duty Diesel engine oil. It’s made to handle the heat and reduce carbon, everything you need for laying out some suppressive fire.

I have the xten with a holosun and it runs perfectly. No problems with the mags or any bullets binding up . Love it so far I don’t want to put it down at the range. Can easily put 100 round with out thinking about it

I bought the Springfield XDM OSP 10mm with a 5.28" threaded barrel and the 4.5 slide a few years ago and it has been a fantastic and reliable pistol. Unfortunately, they only make it with 4.5" barrel now. Anyway, I have wanted another 10mm but nobody was making one with the features that I want, that is until now. I have the SIG P320, P365 and I shoot them better than any of the other pistols that I own. As soon as I come across one, I will buy it (assuming I haven't already spent my bonus money on something else).

I have that same one bought it when Covid bullshit happened because 9mm price skyrocketed and couldn't find ammo but 10mm was plentiful, I did a lot of gunsmithing to it now it's stippled very well with the Fang pattern from OT Defense, PRP Elite Trigger & Kit in it, Truglo TFO Night Sights. I still gotta put a 22lb recoil spring in and get a red dot for it but it's a badass gun. Those crappy Glock 10mm jams constantly shot those at the range but my Springfield 10mm has been through hundreds of rounds not a single failure.

You can make your own P320 using MUP-1. To make it into a 10mm you just need to replace mag catch release for .45 ACP (to ensure slide lock with 10mm or 45 ACP mag follower) and Takedown safety bar for 45 ACP which has necessary clearance for 10mm mag. You can mod standard 9mm lower parts to it, but easier to swap parts. Works flawless with minimal skill making MUP-1

Only difference between 9mm/40SW/357SIG vs 45ACP/10mm is slide catch release for wider mag follower, and mag safety take down made for bigger mag fitting longer rounds.

look into the P320. anyone who does their research will want to steer clear. The only modern pistol known to spontaneously discharge. Needs to be recalled.

I always thought that my P320 9mm compact was barrel heavy/unbalanced with the way they ride in your hand with the older style grip. They fixed that with the x-series grips. I believe it's common as far as the 320 platform. Love them and they are a great shooter but as far as balance they are an odd one. After a few thousand rounds you don't even notice it.

10mm shines best with +P+ loads packing 15+1 rounds. At 750 ft-lb per round, it will let you maximize firepower over others of similar sizes.

I completely agree with you on the front heavy aspect of it. I just bought a Sig Xten and It seems to shoot low for me as well. If wonder they redistributed the weight in the slide if that would make it feel more balanced.

Can’t speak for the xten but I do love my P220 Legion in 10mm. It’s an absolute tank and chews thru everything. Also has to be one of the most accurate & reliable handguns I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting. Only downside (imo) is single-stack capacity. Very curious to hear the general consensus on the new P320 though…told myself I’d wait to buy until Sig corrects the Gen1 kinks, but I might be hard pressed to wait that long 😅

I wanted a 10mm but held off from the 220 because of the single stack, and I just don't like Glock triggers. This video is my first notice that the 320 10mm exists, so I'll be calling around with my credit card ready starting tomorrow. I don't need it, I just want it, lol.

This is a very shootable 10mm. I love it. It is sensitive to COAL in the mag because of the grip dimensions and some factory ammo will bind in the mag. If you seat your reloads to 1.250 it will feed fine. The other thing that concerns me is the lack of a slide safety for holster carry. I won't carry mine with a round chambered because of that, but that is just my preference out of an abundance of caution. Mr Grizz is just going to have to wait while I chamber a round.... There are too many things that can happen in the backcountry like falls, or brush impinging in an exposed trigger guard, etc, and medical help is too far away.

I agree with you about the trend of putting red dot optics on handguns. I don’t like it either. Trendies ruin everything lol. This is an awesome gun, and I really enjoy shooting it though.

I met some marines at a show who were demonstrating the weapons they are issued they said that pistols are no good after ten yards I pointed them in Mr Hickok's videos and said they need more time at the range !

I def need one of these. Love that grip module, and love 10mm... i need something i can carry bc the Tanfoglio W.E.M. is all steel and 44oz unloaded. Id like to carry a 10 again. The p365 is great but 9mm just aint 10.
