The fluting in the chamber appears to really help.

Perfect comparison with how air hockey works. Can’t wait for my state’s mandatory wait period to expire so I can pick mine up. I’ve really begun to appreciate shooting .22 these last couple years with the crazy ammo prices.

Thanks, love the sound and looks of the gun. Now, if I could only find some where I can actually buy one !! God Bless

I haven’t had any extraction issues with the TX-22 but I wish they had any aftermarket barrel option with a feature like this.

Best .22lr pistol on the market other than ruger mk3. Shot and own both, sig gives you a more realistic feel for plinking.

Can you remove the barrel from the P322? I find my almost impossible to remove.

U must have got a good one cause I’ve could not get my fixed and I’ve seen quit a few videos on KZfaq of theses guns having troubles with barrels leading up and fellers to feed and extract,

Wonder if the flutes are causing the unusually heavy barrel fouling? Sig has some issues with their new gun

I have the tx22 I've shot 1700 thur mine with not a single issue of any kind. That's cci stuff and thunderbolt and automatch. Ik it's coming due to bad ammo but still waiting plan to shoot 555 winchester white box this weekend so that streak probably gonna be coming to a end but atleast I'll know it's all ammo lol. Great job taurus. I still would like to add this to my collection but I haven't be able to find one yet around me I haven't looked crazy hard but I've hit a few places up. I'm in no rush I'll get it sooner or later.

Pushes air on uniform pattern, that help with ejection and venting

Wouldn’t steel case ammo do the same without the flutes?
@FeWolf2 жыл бұрын
@@farhan.naushad there is debate, as former machinist, steel on steel promotes wear.
@farhan.naushad2 жыл бұрын
@@FeWolf that’s true and I don’t see too much of a cost difference. It makes sense to use steel for 223. I think TX22 handled it by keeping the ejection port small enough to keep the pressure strong.

Is this not the same concept that POF uses ! I think so !

Similar to the fluting on spent cases on a MP5.

They must have removed the fluted chamber because mine doesn't have it.

Are you sure it's incredibly reliable? Have you shot it yet? There's some KZfaq videos showing lead build up in the barrel.

Flutes may create more blow back and dirtier chamber because 22 lr are dirty ammo...

Incredible reliability? Not really, many issues are reported including with mine , lots of failure to fire, some feed issues, leading with the bulk ammo! 😂
