Adapting to the hatch was what I loved about fly fishing before I blew out my sholder.... When I lived up in the White Mountains of Arizona in Pinetop/Lakeside I would hit the gravel beds when the big bows were running.... To watch a big old girl with 4 or 5 smaller males chasing her, trying to win her favor❓ Marvelous 😜 5 pound Rainbows on a #5 flyrod and 2# tippet is a beautiful way to shop for dinner....😜

I kayak fished East Harbor several times last year. Never tried Middle Harbor because I heard it was too shallow. I'm definitely going this spring. Thank you and 50/50 for highlighting Middle Harbor

Was just up in Lake Placid, NY for a camping trip, of course I did some fishing up there. I tied on a frog imitation soft bait weightless in crystal clear water, saw this smallmouth chasing it, about 2 feet in front of me I can see him so close to the bait he's almost touching it. *Twitch* *BOOM* So satisfying, doesn't get much better than that

East Harbor State Park is an amazing place. Welcome to Ohio, only 30 to 40 miles west of you in Toledo. If you ever make back this way in spring. Definitely, check out Maumee River Walleye run, its epic.

@@YakFishField Metzgers marsh. You most likely passed it if you took Route 2 to Sandusky. I've caught all my PB largemouth and Pike out of there. Best time to fish there is march-early June and September-october. They drop the water level during the summer so it can be hard to fish. However, it's still a good spot for frogs in the summer.

I had to unsubscribe... his voice doesn’t mix well w my head. “Look HOW HEATHY these FISH ARE” as they look like a normal bass with a little bit of a belly😂😂 I’ve seen much healthier, not sure if that much enthusiasm is suffice to those fish
