Even doubling it up when there's need for that... Pieces in F# major has more extra sharps in the melodies that it needs double sharps in it. The same goes to Gb major for the extra flats. I understand why are those keys (along with B/Cb and C#/Db major keys) harder to play...

The indicated description of how to play Mahler’s 10th symphony here “ohne Ausdruck” (without expression) is literally how we would describe a dead face in German. I guess it would have been too much of a coincidence if Brett had played it... Btw, I know that Brett is in no ways the emotionless person everyone jokes he would be. He is a really sweet and funny person (just watch some older videos and you’ll see!). I just thought it would be too funny to not mention it. :D

This is your generic “I always forget that they’re actually good musicians” comment. But seriously, to the people who make comments like this, their musical professionalism just leaks through so many of their videos, even when they’re not playing. Is it really that easy to forget that they’ve been through years and years of musical training and have accomplished so much in music?

I kind of agree, but we have to realise that there are tons of people who play better than them (as they are better than a lot of other people). They’ve kind of become classical pop idols tho. Not saying they’re bad or anything, but I hope people arent inflating their image since they’re two violin-playing musicians who make funny youtube videos

I agree with you, though I think that your comment is slightly off-topic. In my previous comment, I was trying to say that the people who post the low-effort comments about how they forget that Brett and Eddy are professional musicians until they play something should probably rethink before they post. Sure, they do have a point, but in my opinion that’s just kind of thoughtless of them to pretty much just disregard their ability and hard work. Perhaps I’m being a bit extreme about this, but that’s just my opinion. There’s obviously lots of great talents and internationally acclaimed prodigies out there that are more experienced and famous than them, for sure. No one would say that TwoSet and Hilary Hahn, for example, are on the same level. But keep in mind that the duo is still better than the average pro musician. Brett was concertmaster of the Australian Youth Orchestra and Queensland Conservatorium Symphony, and Eddy performed as the soloist with a whole bunch of professional orchestras/symphonies, to list a few of their individual achievements. No one’s ‘inflating their image’. They’re making classical music relevant to the next generation, and they should be given credit for that, as well as their accomplishments before they formed TwoSet Violin. These are my thoughts on this. phew that was a lot of writing
