You're welcome, KY. I actually forgot that I had uploaded this full length version. I posted the original video in three parts. And then I uploaded the full length version, but I lost track of it and I never made it public. 😂 But just the other day, I found it, so I figured I might as well make it live on the channel.

Audio is a big challenge for me when it comes to making these videos. I've never found what I would call the perfect microphone or audio solution. But in this case, I used a Rode Wireless Go II, and I had one of the microphone transmitters around my neck, and Rod was gracious enough to let me put the second one on him. So I got separate audio from him and from me. That worked well in this case because I was recording only his voice and mine.

Yes, Rod was a very good guide on this day. I guess we are both fairly laid back and easygoing, and we both pay attention to small details. It was a very good day and quite enjoyable. 🙂

Thank you very much. I'm not in Saigon right now. I'm in the city of Dalat. But I plan to return to Saigon soon. I hope to meet up with Rod again. I'm not sure if that will turn into another video, but it's possible. 🙂

Great vlog Vietnam has certainly transformed to a modem city can't imagine decades ago the war between the north & south .

The sense of change and how different Vietnam is compared to 20 or 30 years ago has been my main impression as well. At times it doesn't even seem like the same country that I saw back in the '90s.

Just stop at any coffee shop you see on the street. It’s just as good or better and cheaper than those places you listed, speaking from a Vietnamese perspective.
