My wife has had seizures since she was 10, and she is now 65. She has had three surgeries and been on almost every seizure drug there is. None of this had helped. It was rare for her to go two full weeks without a seizure. We first heard about the Mozart effect on June 1st of this year and she started listening to this recording on June 2nd. Today is July 21st and she has not had a seizure for the past 51 days. Real or coincidence? We're not going to make that determination yet but this is the longest she has gone without a seizure for at least the last 20 years or so. We listen to this recording a couple of times during the day and she lets it play on repeat all night while she sleeps. We have added in Mozart's k545 as it is also said to help, just not quite as much as 448. Time will tell, but we're hopeful.

How great it is to see two seasoned performers kicking arse on stage together, playing masterfully and with such passion and nuance. So often classical performances are by younger musicians. Nothing wrong with that at all - but it’s good to balance the scales a bit and show the full spectrum of gifted musicians that we have in this world. This is such a beautiful piece of music, and they really brought it to life with such sweetness and clarity. Magic.

Did you know that listening to this Sonata reduces epileptic seizures in patients with this ailment? (Quon et al, 2021, Nature 2021, 11:16490). Well, I am sure we all knew Mozart is a healer, but we are now beginning to understand the physiological underpinnings of his music therapeutic effects.
They play together, as always, like lovers - each knowing and anticipating and, far more importantly, having fun - you can see it in their mutual affection for Mozart. May God love them forever....

You should see the love and respect Martha Argerich and Nelson Freire have for each other, When they are in each other's home in Brazil, fully relaxed and informal, you just love to watch them interact with each other. You could see how much love they have for the other and you cannot but wish they would live for a thousand years, gracing us with their musicality. I hope they are making many recordings of their lives as concert pianists which we could enjoy in the future. Perry London
