I am SO glad that I stumbled on to this piece. I love Daniel Barenboim and his approach to music. I also have been listening to Martha Argerich for years and to see them together making making such grand music on a difficult piece such as our friend Wolfgang created is PURE HEAVEN.

Signora is by no means the female equivalent to maestro. In Italian you would say maestra, quite simply. But it would sound a little weird in English, so... Maestro, even more so with a man and a woman both earning the title in the same sentence.

My wife has had seizures since she was 10, and she is now 65. She has had three surgeries and been on almost every seizure drug there is. None of this had helped. It was rare for her to go two full weeks without a seizure. We first heard about the Mozart effect on June 1st of this year and she started listening to this recording on June 2nd. Today is July 21st and she has not had a seizure for the past 51 days. Real or coincidence? We're not going to make that determination yet but this is the longest she has gone without a seizure for at least the last 20 years or so. We listen to this recording a couple of times during the day and she lets it play on repeat all night while she sleeps. We have added in Mozart's k545 as it is also said to help, just not quite as much as 448. Time will tell, but we're hopeful.

How great it is to see two seasoned performers kicking arse on stage together, playing masterfully and with such passion and nuance. So often classical performances are by younger musicians. Nothing wrong with that at all - but it’s good to balance the scales a bit and show the full spectrum of gifted musicians that we have in this world. This is such a beautiful piece of music, and they really brought it to life with such sweetness and clarity. Magic.

This piece gives one insight into Mozart's regard for larger sonorities than he is usually given credit for.

ברנבוים מנגן מקסים. לשמוע אותו בלי הפסקה. שיהיה בריא. ושיחזור לנגן. כי הוא פרש, בגלל בעיות בריאותיות.

This is glorious. I have always loved the music of Mozart. I came here because they have done a scientific study and found that the first movement, if listened to by people with Epilepsy, helps to diminish the number of seizures. All I know is it made me very happy to listen to these two amazing pianists. Wow. Thank you for sharing this wonderful music.

@@viviangoldschmidt2941 You should actually read my comment. I was not asserting that this movement helps diminish seizures, what I said was it was how I found out about the Sonata and "All I know is it made me very happy to listen to these two amazing pianists.".

Actually I heard in the radio news today that just this sonata has been seriously scientifically scrutinized as remedy against epilepsia, with excellent results!!! And I am more than willing to believe it.

Martha Argerich wohnt in Genf, Daniel Barenboim in London.

thank you Mozart for composing so many breath taking Music for the world to enjoy. You are truly one of a kind! Because of your amazing compositions, so many Pianists got to show off their playing. Without you ... these pianists are nothing...cos they cant compose. They have to rely on composers like you for them to play. RIP Mozart. May your soul be at peace eternally.
