I do a number of cancer organization events through out the year (like Easter, Christmas, gala's etc.). Nice to see someone else utilizing Pixieset like I am! But I do have a few questions since I see you’ve been using it for years. After you do a shoot, do you have a set amount of pics you agree to send to the clients or however many you like? If you do allow them to choose, do you have a way of letting them pick which ones they want or do you pick the best ones in your eyes? I thought about using the favorites list to get them to pick which ones they really want. But I also don’t want to upload a whole bunch of raw files for them to choose from. Sorry I know it’s a lot lol I just haven’t found many people using Pixieset like me. Thanks again for the video!

Thanks for demonstrating pixieset. I just noticed that you have a typo in the email template shown in the video (I don't know whether this has been corrected in your download link). In the email template shown in the video you start with "Its the moment...", whereas it should be "It's the moment..." (with apostrophe, short for IT IS = IT'S).

how do you re-edit your clients photos using the lightroom cc plug in? I have everything set up...just don't know how to pull the favorite list from pixie set to LR

Hey buddy! Thank you for uploading this content! Would it be a good idea sharing small files with the client and then delivering all the high resolution photos in a pen drive? I feel sharing all high resolution photos may hit your 10GB - 100GB easily and we wouldn't have available storage for other clients

What dimensions/resolution do you recommend when uploading the photos to Pixieset? I know for social media use the photos should be exported at 2,048 pixels and 72 for resolution, and then it is different for prints. But which one should we choose when uploading them here since clients will most likely do a combo of both?

(1) Do the prints ship from the USA or Canada (2) Do you give high res digital print resolution files to your clients in your wedding packages or they have to pay per photo for a high res file? Thanks for this tutorial. I have a question. When I import my images into Pixieset they don't import in sequence, they get all jumbled up and I have to manually move them (pixieset's move tool is unbearable!) I really need some good advice and I would be totally pleased with your help. I've done portraits, events photography (not weddings yet), boudoir photography, and friends that are selling lingerie clothing, solo, and couples photographs My question is: do I have to always edit all my photos? Or just when I feel the need for a simple adjustment of lighting or balance? I am mentioning this because with Event photos or family photos, they are almost more than 100 photos that look amazing out of the camera, and for me to edit each one will demand a huge amount of time 😔 As I am a beginner, I am going to start charging only for an hour or 2 photo shootings in order to gain more experience and people to know my photos. But this option was without editing as it will be at a very affordable price and delivery of around 50-100 great photos. I really appreciate anyone with their best advice, thanks!

What if you do a mini session and take say 50 photos and your fee only includes 5, with option to purchase more. You want to show all of the photos so they can choose which 5 they would like. Where can I find the templets

Beginner user here- I have exported my photos from Lightroom to my computer all as Jpegs. I began the upload process on pixieset and only a few fully uploaded. The rest had an error message. I exported all of them the exact same. What did I do wrong?

I recently had a problem with pixieset. They promised me 3000+ photos. I was only able to upload around 700 before going over storage space. I did not upload in raw (doesn't allow you to) all my images were converted to jpeg. So why am I running out of space ? If you have a better way to upload so I'm not running out of space. Good video, thanks! I am now just learning about Pixieset. I feel I come from the old school and that is to meet clients in my studio and show them a slide show with music. I am also scared of selling high resolution images so they can enlarge in any size and I won't get a cut. After spending years in college and years of experience to be where I am at today and just give away the copy right to a client who can enlarge it to any size doesn't seem right to me. I started my studio in '92 and nobody that I knew gave out their negatives to their wedding or family clients. That's how we made our money. The time of the photo session and what they ordered. I saw your print price list and those prices are a lot lower than what it was 30 years ago. But the cameras, lenses, lighting equipment has gone up. Back then I could buy a Hasselblad or a Mamiya RZ 67 and keep it for 20 years without it breaking down. Now it seems like the cameras needs to be replaced so often. And then we have the programs that we have to subscribe to. I think it's a lot more expensive today then for 30 years ago but the price we sell is cheaper. I would love to know today's ¨secret¨ on how to keep clients happy and still get a good salary. Is it that you charge 5000 - 10000 dollars for the service and give more? Photography pricing and service has changed so much that I have a hard time to follow. I know that many new starters here where I live started with very low prices and ruined the market and after a year or two they were gone and left us dealing with now the clients who are used to pay less. Anyway, I would like to know the new strategy in pricing and service. Ok, thanks for reading this. :) Now I will check out more of your videos. :)

I m sorry, not quite clear on the concept. All the photos must be in jpg. format, correct? I shoot in RAW, so I need to convert them first before editing? Than somehow the client needs to access their file [how?], pick and choose, what they want, or I choose which pics to give them, and already create a gallery with the edited ones? confused. thx
