I appreciate your insight. I've been through this. My response was stop communication and to stop pouring from my cup. I in return redirected the same energy towards myself and my children. A person can't pour from an empty cup.

For 21 years, I was giving and getting nothing from my soon to be x-husband. He was just as you described to the T. I finally filed for divorce last July because I was so drained to the point where my health started to go downhill. He tried to get me to not pursue the divorce, but I decided enough was enough. Women, please let us start looking after ourselves and have our relationship with God so he can grant us discernment to see these men for who they really are🙏

youre so lucky theres divorce law in your country so you have a solution, but in my country there is no divorce. Till now me and other women in abusive marriage are waiting and bugging the politicians to approve the divorce law in my country.
