Here’s my little story I had a solid plan, no contact, and my spirit grew stronger. It was a shorter relationship, and it was also a distance relationship for a couple of months in the end. Everything felt good, no disagreements and no arguments at all. Only sunshine and flowers to the end. Then she wanted to end it for some confusing reasons (to say the least). Anyway I reached out to her now after a couple of months. Turns out the reason for our breakup was a re-connection with her ex, and she couldn’t be honest about that. My point is don’t have your hopes too ramped up, sometimes things are more blunt than we think.

I have to be completely honest, I was going through a pretty bad break up with my ex, I started following Coach Lee's advice and I went in no contact radio silence for 2 weeks, to my surprise my ex reached out and asked me on a date. It's crazy....but why exes who break up with and leave us.....never think about us, want see us, and etc ....when we're broke down, torn , hurt and really miss.....They seem to wait until you healed, can live without them, finding yourself, start being happy with yourself.....It's scary to trust someone that has badly hurt you before.... Coach…. I was so intent on getting them back. Now they want me back but It’s not the same. I’ve detatched from them and just don’t really feel the same as I once did. My healing journey has been a great one and honestly this no contact is great for my own sanity and maintenance of self-respect!

I'm experiencing all these signs from my ex, and though I know that ultimately I would like to reunite, I also know what I'd need from him to be able to move forward toward eachother again. It's tough however knowing when and how to frame my needs & expectations if things start to progress.

The problem is that all of my exes are either Dismissive Avoidant or Fearful Avoidant attachment styles, pathological narcissists, or both- and the abject cruelty of the way they end the relationship is an absolute dealbreaker to my ever letting them into my life again, no matter how good the rest of it might have been or how sorry they may claim to be. My second problem with this type of coaching is that it constantly tells the discarded partner to suppress their own needs to express our justified hurt and anger at the way we were dumped; along with our justified demand for amends and reparations for harms done. Every one of your videos that I've listened to keeps telling the dumpee to shove that all under the rug, then when the ex comes back, "don't act mad at them because they might have a feeling they don't like and go away again." Um, what right does that person have to comfort or convenience after what they did? Why should it be considered normal for them not to have to suffer pain or face any consequences for their actions, and why should we not get to require that they make it right? It's been very useful listening to these and going No Contact, because as I've done so I've realized what I'm simply not going to put up with, and if getting an ex back means having to accept the treatment I got on their way out and act like it never happened, no ex is worth that. In other words, these videos are basically signs to move on and find someone better. The unfair, unbalanced nature of getting back someone who left simply isn't worth it.

One interesting aspect of no contact its that when you really moved on and stop caring about your ex and the energy you gave her , its not longer there, she will sense it and if she still cares, she will reach out even if she is with someone else. Thats why when you really moved on and focus on new things and girls, outnowhere here she comes. Thats why you have to let them go to get them back and the clue its stop wanting them back and be really done with her. The scarcity energy you are transmitting will go back to you, even if you are not reaching out and even if she blocks you and she doesnt know anything about your life. I know its sounds weird but theres some disturbance on the force when you stop investing emotional energy on someone. Thats why they came back when you moved on. So be careful on just going no contact, stop waiting for her to come back and assume she wont, so you start faster to move on and let her go completely, thats when she can feel and realize your are not longer missing her and caring about her. Expecting, wishing and wanting, signals scarcity to the universe, so start having, being and doing to signal Abundance.

My ex hurt me in the worst way I think a person could hurt another human being. At least in my eyes. But, we have since reconciled. We still love separately, but I do spend a lot of time w him and my kids. I’m at a point where I stand my ground and set up boundaries and basically said if you ever dare try hurting me again, I will be so content walking away and never speaking to him or looking back again. I do not chase him. I’m the one he chases now. Never going through that mess again! I almost feel silly I’m even giving him the time of day, but I can’t help loving him. I have 5 out of 5. We just went out and later on the day they texted me that they had lots of fun. I can sense that we both also wanted to kiss. Idk what will happen, I had already started making peace with never being with them again. But there's little strange signs.

So @coachlee I took your advice(comment on another video) about waving at my ex if he waved at me(it was our thing at school pickup) so he wouldn’t think I was mad at him. So after catching him staring as he drove past me, again, third time in 2 weeks, I was ready the next day to see if he went further. He did. He drove past slowly, looking my way the entire time as he drove towards me, we made eye contact, he smiled and waved, I returned the same to him. So, given that this was our thing, could I be confident that this is a sort of contact/interaction? As you say in the video, I don’t think he would do it knowing what it was between us previously, if he didn’t want to lead me on? He feels comfortable enough with this interaction? and I feel like he was testing the water, gauging my reaction, as it was the first time we’ve really properly seen each other in 8/9weeks. I’m not taking it as a reason for me to reach out to him, absolutely not! I’m sticking rigidly to no contact and waiting to see if he will go a step further and call or text. But can I take it as a good sign?! 🥴 I think it might be, but you’re the expert! 😅 I just feel if it was me, and I didn’t want to give someone false hope or have them think I was still interested in them, I would make a point of not interacting in a way we used to previously, I wouldn’t even look their way to be honest! I broke the no contact (I know stupid) and of course, made it worse. She was angry as hell and said that I proofed that I did not change and looked like a stalker. She said that she wants no contact in the coming time and wants to focus on other things, study, etc. And final that I could wait if I was so much better and changed and that she will contact me in the future if she thought ''that it had any use''. So now all the power is in her hands and I am really angry at myself. What now? She has all the power.

I am two months NC a month after the break up happened. None of the signs have happened yet but I noticed but I’ve noticed most people who attract their ex’s back no longer want them by the time the ex comes back around. The other people felt like moving on and then there’s no chance of getting back together with th ex because they either find someone better or they simply give up. I’m not someone who wants to make myself give up and that’s why i refuse to move on from something I worked to maintain. There are people who have gotten their ex back without losing the feeling of wanting them back, right?

Does the coach have any videos regarding the steps to take to get your ex back once you to have reinitiated contact, and you’re basically hanging out and dating again? At what point do you go from just casually dating and having fun and getting to know each other again, to where you actually start talking about re-entering the relationship? Does the person who was dumped ever bring that up or is that always something you have to wait until the dumper finally mentions?

What if you’re in a civil Union or married and went on a break? I find it harder to do no contact because they think no matter what we’re not really over so the effort to make it work when we come back together isn’t 100% and the same issues arise… How do you make someone value you when you’re already legally bound?

Thank you for all the videos. I have learned a lot of myself and relationships in general. You are a wise man and I imagine the universe rewards you so. I started no contact about 4 weeks ago and I'm not sure that I'm doing the right thing as it is unclear which one of us was the dumper/dumpee. Our relationship while intense, had an imbalance and in the last couple of weeks I received a slew of rejection and critisism. The thing is though, that seeing an inevitable break up coming my way, I preemptively did the break up myself (asked for time apart). It felt like she was giving me no other option (making me do it because she could not). I know that you say not to do no contact if you are the dumper but in my case, even though I voiced it, am I the dumpee. I feel like my situation sucks more because it was with a guy who didn't want a relationship, so I went ahead with the friends with benefits crap instead and caught feelings. I caused drama with my abandonment issues that he couldn't deal with. At first he would still see me in private at work and be physical, then it and his messages abruptly ceased, like he was angry at me. I don't recall doing anything wrong. So I went NC and it's only been a short while, but I had a week off work last week and when I came back, he made time to seek me out, tell me it was good to see me, ask how my birthday was, etc. He also initiated conversation last night. He won't get too close to me, though, and he has refused my recent offers to meet up, so I stopped doing that. Only time will tell what his game is.
