After mentioning about Mary, He said “I fend for myself and I cross my hurdles in my own way” That’s the point that I really admire at. What a strong man he was! I read that the last thing he wanted was ‘pity’ and he hardly told anything about his personal regret or sadness. He just crossed lots of hurdles of his life in his own way. God gave him a lot of amazing talents & beauty including internal strength. Can’t help loving him.

Awww it's so sweet how he talks about Mary, I'm glad that Freddie had at least one close friend that he can depend on and feel close to. Mary was with him before Queen got famous, so it's nice that they stayed close friends. There's a lot of flaky people in show business. You can't trust everybody. Freddie was smart, though and he was a Virgo. Which makes him Keen to other people's motives. because they anaylze everything and their sharp thinkers .Early in their band they had a manager that took advantage of them. I think they wrote a song or two about the guy. they couldn't get rid of him the guy quit after he heard the songs lol....At the time the guys were young, and just starting out as a new band and the manager probably thought he could get over....

Wow. This is the first time I heard the whole interview. Not only is Freddie a musical genius, and gorgeous, he is also very intelligent and has so much insight into himself and the world. I also loved the fact that he mentioned Mary in this interviewer (there are way to many negative things said about Mary) and the proof is in the pudding - he says, Mary is his best friend, the only one he trusts with personal things that are bothering him. That was truly wonderful to hear as I always believe in their love & bond. I love him even more now - if that's possible~!

....it's a damn shame you couldn't just clone him.... he's just gorgeous isn't he....on top of being extremely talented and all the other pluses fantastic voice, clever, witty , damn cute etc etc...and 'he's just riddled with scars and doesn't want anymore'....you just got to love him...

Once he said about Mary"The only friend I´ve got is Mary and I don´t want another else.To me she is my common low wife.To me it was a marriage. We belive in eatch other, that´s enough for me,I couldn´t fall in love with a man the some way I have with Mary...our love affair endet in tears (after 7 years) but a deep bond grew out of it,and that´s something nobody can take away from us.It´s unreachable."That´s clear that Mary was the love of his life.

Yes and YES! You can definitely tell too by the way Freddie is cutting up with him while answering his questions. Other interviews he's much more shy and reserved which is something that's always been fascinating to me about Freddie. Seeing him perform LIVE for millions vs 1 on 1 interviews is like night and day! There was ALOT of contradictory ways about Freddie that always kept you guessing. That mystique he carried throughout life was something he LOVED about himself!
