This part of our Sikkim Trip starts from Kalimpong and takes us to NATHU LA which was closed at the time but we managed to get access and visit Indo-China border. This has to be on the top of your list if you plan a trip to Sikkim as witnessing the tricolour on that height would fill your chest with pride and guaranteed give you goosebumps.
The route we took was -
KALIMPONG -- ZULUK -- NATHU LA -- GANGTOK
I would highly recommend that you take this route while on the way or back from Gangtok as ZULUK which is a small hamlet famous for its Sikkim Silk Route and beautiful valleys. And the hair pin bends are a sight to behold!
OH, and do not miss the LANDSLIDE just after Changu Lake (official name Tsomgo Chho), hence, the road block that made us ditch the car, walk literally over the avalanche to reach the other side and then get to GANGTOK - but what an adventure! -- Check out the video to see all that till the end!

• SIKKIM TRIP IN 2021 ||...
We went on a road trip to Sikkim and enjoyed staying and travelling in the gorgeous state which is not exactly on everyone's list but, oh boy, it should be! The tiny state packs in everything for me, the barren (Ladakh vibes) landscapes of the north, to the green wild east, cultural south and the vibrant capital, Gangtok, in the west. Glittering glacial lakes, endless pastures, waterfalls at every turn, quiet monastery towns, and scenic drives in Sikkim made it a a trip to remember.
I have started these VLOGs to help people out to plan their travel and highlight the HITs and MISS of any place, so that they can make an informed decision.
