New fan, I grew up on a cow-calf ranch (British Columbia, Canada) and worked at a dairy farm many moons ago doing many of the same tasks; your photography and video really capture the farm life cycle of working with equipment & livestock and reminds me of the smell of fresh cut alfalfa, the early morning sunrises as you bump along in a tractor harvesting till darkness and the exhaustion at the end of a long day. You have a really good eye in taking the video’s (by hand or drone) your editing and the transitions are so smooth it looks professionally done. Very glad I found your channel. 😍🌈🍀🥛🎯💚

I wonder what it cost to hire a million quids worth of kit for, what was it? 4 Hours? Pretty sure that it was a bargain... Tom and his dad are not fools and know how to make use of value for money hire fees rather than to en-debt themselves to their bank. P.S. Milk prices are currently little more than the were 30 years ago, so this farming family has done well to survive what used to be one dairy farmer suicide per day.

We will come view and like every one of your silage videos. What made this one of the best is seeing the teamwork that went into the work today, really liked it. i love these videos, do as many as you can, it good to see a real farmer doing his daily work, I missed working on farms due to health issues I am unable to do so now so this is the next best thing

Good video young man. I did a day and a late night carting silage the other week.I had a CASE and Bailey trailer on the back and all was good. Back welding this past week though. Makes a change a bit of tractor driving. Keep up the good work and stay safe!

Great video! All that equipment out there is like this farm girls dream! I'd loved to have seen more of the JCB's bucket/shovel. I caught a glimpse of it changing shape early on in the video but then they didn't do it again when you were focusing on it. That's a very nice bit of kit! Certainly does dwarf your tractor which would dwarf mine. Much tractor envy! 🤣

Heard this plenty of times before. 'Look after the edges, the middle will look after itself'. This was in the days, when we used four tined forks to sort the edges out by hand!
