My daughter suffers from Anxiety and depression. In 7th grade her school offered counseling. I signed her up asap. I am so glad that she is still goes till this day once every 2 weeks (She’s in the 9th grade now). Dealing with a child who has anxiety real bad is not for the weak. I pray daily for her and others who suffer from anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

I just recently started therapy for depression because I was minutes away from suicide. Depression can have such a profound effect on your life that you can’t even see the light of day. I am learning how to cope with it and it is a battle daily, but this amazing podcast has been helpful. ❤❤ May you continue to be a blessing to me and all of your followers.

This episode was raw and real. It’s definitely a topic that needs to continue to be talked about. Depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts are real and so many of us want the pain to stop and don’t know the right way to go about it. I’m praying for everyone who’s dealt with this or who has lost someone and is still dealing with finding that new normal. God’s got you! We definitely need to wear that spiritual covering at ALL times!

whewwww balling my eyes out, i am literally going through the motions of trying to find myself again and it's hard. All I got is myself. Can't talk to my mom about it because she don't understand and she's the root of it all honestly. Been battling with depression since a kid and it was times where I didn't wanna be alive and I still feel that way now being 25. October 2019 I tried to take my own life. I'm listening to this in tears. All my life I've been sick in my body with one thing or another. I've had thoughts that if I was outta here I wouldn't burden anyone. I'm used to being the shoulder and ear for others and still haven't come to grips with needing anyone when I'm down. I've never been clinically depressed, but I have had thoughts of life being easier if I weren't here. God always reveals to me that I'm worth it and it gets me straight.

I understand as a single mother raising two children with special needs I’m so ashamed that I struggle to support them every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets. I get so depressed about it. Thankfully I have God

Shanti Das is a light and following her has motivated me on my mental health journey as well.

This really hit home; taking care of my sister in my home and seeing her slowly deteriorate from terminal cancer and subsequently passing, left me in a very dark place. I’m a counselor but have yet to get help for my self. I have a faith in God and this has given me a push to find a counselor. This counselor needs a counselor.

I am loving this conversation. I am a founder of a Nonprofit organization and currently working with a Substance abuse program where homeless Mothers and their Children are enrolled in the Dayspring Program. Since I been here in April 2023 I have seen six mothers free from substance abuse turning their lives around by enrolling in school to get their high school diploma and obtain their own home. Yes the struggle is real for them but to God Be The Glory for placing me here and using me as a vessel to reach these mothers.

Thank you Crystal, Dinorah and Shanti for this powerful episode it is going to help so many people. To the people who are going through tuff times, if you can just remember, “This too shall pass, Satan get behind me and with God before me who can be against me”. Also know and understand you were purposely put on earth and you are intentional. You are loved by the most powerful His name is Jesus. Seek the knowledge of God. He will never fail you nor will He let you down. God said, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”. Do Not Be ASHAMED to seek help. God put therapist here and gave them the knowledge to help you and they are purposeful. Suppressing your feelings lead to all kinds of health problems. I challenge each of you to get a personal relationship with God. Nobody or nothing can get you through the darkness like He will. I have had to bury so many family members including a 15 month old baby. That was the hardest thing I have had to deal with there is nothing tougher than to put a baby angel under the dirt. Kids are Gods angels they are not responsible for anything other than bringing joy. Faith, Prayer, Meditation and therapy will get you through. Just be still and know that He is God. Lean on these scripture Psalm 27:1-14🙏🏾🙏🏾❤

I wish I could be one of those people that would run into @shantidas404 someplace...just to hug her & thank her for her light & awareness. Both of these ladies are needed in our culture ❤ WE ARE ENOUGH!!!

I would like to speak on this. I've never thought about suicide at all. But I have had a little stress, frustration, and a little depression. And I thought about giving up, quitting, and it was a time I've thought about dropping out. But I God for keeping me, watching over me. And if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have gotten a second chance. I have a good job I've had almost 30 years at UPS. I thank God for my Mother, God rest her soul, And my Father who's still here for having me, my brothers and my sister. And for raising us. All I can say is that I'm blessed 🙏

At 6 yrs old my mom tried to kill herself through meth. And she almost drank herself to death. But the last 5 years before she passed away of multiple mini strokes she got sober and committed her life to God. And was the Mother I hungered for but I got here and there from 6 to 16. But So Grateful I got closure to be in California when she was dying of mini strokes. I got to hear tell me she Loved Me😭🙌🙌♥️😭🔥🔥🔥🔥❗❗❗❗
