Those gold-plated quarters come from a Midwest casino coin pusher. It's a novelty prize in the machine.

Wow Rob...talk about ups and downs! Box 1 was AWESOME! Box 2 cut into the momentum a little bit (not to mention losing 90 cents and being a dud box) but made up for it with all the W quarter finds! Silver, foreign coins, 2 new nickels in place of 2 quarters, missing 2 quarters in one roll...definitely one of the more exciting coin hunts to watch! Congrats on adding to your collection!

If you place a sandwich coin in vinegar for a day or two it will turn gold in color. Good hunt.

Quarters have been cold for me. 3 skunk boxes, and 1 w in a fourth. Still have a few to go in the fourth.

I've been able to hunt 2 boxes of quarters so far this year & both had one silver in each! Both were 1964D & one had some damage on the rim but I'll take it! Just hunted a box of dimes at the beginning of the week & was shocked to have gotten a 1952P! I've hunted boxes off & on for 21 yrs now & these were the first boxes I've found silver! Not sure why I'm finally finding some other than the economy being poor but I'm not complaining! Hope I can keep finding more here in central Virginia! Good hunting!

Wow, those W's are coming out of circ scuzzy these days!... but still, such a low HUGELY saught after find is a find! Being a retail cashier at a job and having the knowledge WHAT to look for (thanks in a great part to you, Rob) and the ability to search thru our commerce rolls is a huge advantage. I'd have to get a second opinion, but I may well some early examples that may be worth submission! 😊 thanks again, Rob fur the passed on knowledge.

Congrats on 200k! I was very distracted last night, watching the stream and teaching my daughter everything to look for during her very first strap hunt (she found a cool trinary in her first strap) ! I'm glad you had some finds in these boxes, it's got me side eyeing my quarter box. 3 boxes of nickels to go, maybe I'll get lucky with my quarters. Roll 1 was a dud but they still worked at the laundromat! See you wednesday

It's almost April and I've yet to find any 2024 coins. I'm a cashier so it's particularly surprising, but I'm looking forward to finding the new American women quarters because I've got the whole set so far

I finally found my first silver quarter in a Fed wrapped roll yesterday. 1955 D I couldn't believe it... I don't hunt quarters very often but I'm going to start doing it more. Normally I just do halfs and nickels... I thought it was ironic that on the live stream last night you were giving away a 55 Denver silver quarter. I tried to win it but no bueno LOL... anyways cool video Rob

Very interesting hunt. Do you ever measure your quarter hunts with a Geiger counter? It has been brought to my attention that the US silver quarters contain radiated metals, I did a DTPA flushing jjust in case, passes it through your urine. It may be an Urban legend, but you never know about the government. 😂😅
