Daylight saving time is not useless. Only bakers and farmers need more daytime hours early in the morning and not in the evening, when the majority of the population are out and about doing things.

DST was set up to save energy, which it doesn't. In turn, it increases the number of cardiac incident in the overall population, increases car accidents, especially against wild animals and increases the number of mental issues. These are all statistical facts.

I personally wish we'd just stay on dst... In Florida it just makes more sense to have the sun later in the day here.

@@WromWrom How does it not save energy? We get 1 hour more in the evenings in the summer when most people are awake and would be lighting their houses and vice versa in the winter. Being woken up very early in the morning in the summer is definitely not good for mental health and neither is leaving work in the dark!

@@DDDquick That was the logic when it was set up. But the analysis have clearly shown it's wrong. And there's been analysis all over the world.
