Today we try the language challenge Arabic vs Persian (Farsi) and come across some similarities between the two languages. Many phrases are similar in both languages but sometimes we had to use the words in sentences in order to guess the meaning.
Here is some information about the two languages (this idea to share this is inspired by Bahador Alast
/ @bahadoralast )
Arabic is the official language in Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Palestine, and Western Sahara. Arabic has also, to some extent influenced other languages including Spanish, Portuguese, Valencian, Catalan, Sicilian, Greek and Bulgarian. Arabic has also great influenced Persian, Turkish, Spanish, Maltese, Urdu, Kashmiri, Kurdish, Bosnian, Kazakh, Bengali, Hindi, Malay, Maldivian, Indonesian, Pashto, Punjabi, Tagalog, Sindhi and Hausa.
Persian or Farsi is a Indo-European language mainly spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Both the Arabic and and Persian language have influenced one another throughout history.
