Hi there. As a DRC 🇨🇩 citizen who is very interested in languages, I find that BEMBA people/language of the south east of the DRC 🇨🇩 and the north of Zambia 🇿🇲 are direct cousins of LUBA of the DRC 🇨🇩. Thank you for your research. Your videos, I have watched so far, with comparisons on Bemba, Shona, Zulu, are an amazing revelation about the Bantu languages. What a brilliant idea you are working on. The similarities are so incredible. You have done a great job, and are an authority in linguistics, today. It is evident that the equivalent terms in the Kiswahili language is an agglomeration or a variation of some of these and other Bantu languages.

Hi Susan, Thank you so much for enlightening souls by confirming that we are brothers and sisters and reminding us that the frontiers imposed to us are "USELESS". I loved your video and I am going to add my cent. All the words you spoke in Luganda and Bemba are found in Kinyarwanda (spoken in Rwanda). Who says Kinyarwanda also says Kirundi (from Burundi) since these are twin cultures. To all who will visit your channels, I add the following ================================= Luganda or Bemba || Kinyarwanda (k/rda)|| ================================= - Linso || Ijisho (eye) - humura (don't worry, do not panic!) - Kodi || hodi - Nyoko (in k/rda it is your mum) - Nyina (His / Her mum) - Muyembe || umwembe (mango in k/rda) - Lima || Kurima (to cultivate) - Kyibiliti || ikibiliti - kyakulya || icyakula in k/rda (coming from swahili cakula) - tema || gutema (here the ku in k/rda express the verb in infinitive) - leeka || reka (don't in k/rda) - mulamu || muramu (brother or sister in-law) - kyintu || ikintu - pima || gupima (to measure, again with gu for infinitive) - sanga || gusanga - nyama || inyama - mutima || umutima - yingila || ku-injira ==>kwinjira - embwa || imbwa - kyiloto || kurota - nwa || kunywa (to drink) - tonya || igitonyanga (a drop) - mbata || imbata - vubu || imvubu (hippo) - kutwi || ugutwi - mutwe || umutwe - mwana || umwana - mukanwa || akanwa - inkoko in k/rda means chicken - kayimba || kuririmba (to sing) , indirimbo (a song) - lulimi || ururimi - kugula || kugura - kuseka || guseka - seko || inseko (a smile or a laughter) - myaka || imyaka (years ) - malaika || malayika - mubili || umubiri - epeela || ipera - musalaba || umusaraba - umupira in k/rda means ball -pangurura || gupangura - olwala || urwara Thanks again for your dedication. I will try my best to watch all your videos Alexis

The similarity is not between Luganda and Bemba. It is between Luganda and Tonga. The Bemba are from DRC, in the Luba Empire. The Tonga and the Namwanga are from the Great Lakes region in the area of Uganda and Kenya. The Tonga, Namwanga and the BaGanda share the same nomenclature. The names have the same form. The Tonga call a man Musankwa, the baGanda say Musajja, while the Bemba say Umwaume. I know Bemba very well, having grown on the Copperbelt. I also am a Tonga, and so I am in a better position to compare. Bemba is close to LuGanda because all Bantu languages are close. However, when you look at the particularities of a language, Tonga and LuGanda are much closer together than Bemba is to LuGanda. In the arts, Tonga drums are unique in Zambia for not being modulated with wax. The Bemba, the Lozi, the Chewa and Luvale etc all wax the center of the drum head in order. The popular Tonga dance, Chin'gande is almost identical to baTo'ro dance, Urunyege Ntogoro, etc

@@kintuslounge253 Kintu, there is only one Bantu language if you really want to distill it to the basics. The rules of our language, the way we manipulate nouns with prefixes and suffixes does not change. If you leave Uganda, and settle in Umtata South Africa, and immerse yourself in the local population, you will understand a lot of what they are saying within a few weeks, be conversational in Xhosa, albeit having difficulties to pronounce the words with click sounds, and be on the way to fluency within a reasonably short time...

Nyo has the same meaning in Ngbandi language of the nord of the DRC 🇨🇩 and Sango of the Central African Republic (CAR) 🇨🇫. Douala or Duala language of Cameroon 🇨🇲 is quite close to Lingala. And I think it's because of the influence the NGOMBE(H) language of the north west of the DRC has on Lingala as language. N.B. NGOMBE(h)🇨🇩 people are direct cousins of Douala/Duala 🇨🇲. Their languages are the same even the way they behave. The town of LISALA 🇨🇩 for instance is NGOMBE people homeland. Professeur @AnicetMobé🇨🇩 is a Ngombeh gentleman. You can verify my information. 🙏🇨🇩🤝🇨🇲. E.g. Nyama means animal or meat in Lingala = Nyama which also means meat or animal in Douala. Ngando (in Lingala means Crocodile) = Ngando means also Crocodile in Douala. Mbindo (Lingala meaning Dirty , not clean) = Mbindo meaning the same thing in Douala. MotemaMutema means Heart in Lingala = Mulema (Heart in Douala). Satana is Satan/demon in Lingala = Satana (Satan/demon) in Douala.
