@@richsmith5395 he is doing an impression of a specific person who is standing right in front of him. The Apu character is a stereo type accent and not an impression of a person named Apu. There is a difference.

1st &2nd I am an Indian and there are millions of us, who speak EXACTLY like Apu. Most Indians like the character Apu and how Hank Azaria reprised that character - only some snowflakes take offence.

Simon is actually a profesional musician. He took piano, guitar and singing lessons since he was 8 years old. He is a freaking piano master. We were next-door neighboors from 1986 until 1999. I used to hang out with him and all the kids in the neighborhood back in the day. We used to play, pretending we were The A-Team and McGyver and he was so into the acting-playing game. Somehow we just knew he was gonna be an artist. And he killed it. Never talked to him again... never saw him again. I have the best memories of that time when we were kids. I'm happy for him. He is a hard worker. Deserves his success 500%.
