What does Simon not understand about the fact Klopp turned a 7th place team into league and European champions on a lower net spend than the likes of Villa & West Ham? Holland calling. Arne Slot is a very very good coach. Feyenoord was for tens of years suffering on the pitch and financially. He, together with manager Dennis te Kloese turned it around in two years. Feyenoord is now financially prosperous and are reeling in trophies. No guarantee of course, but he is very good. Far better than Ten Hag.

Yes I agree. Had Liverpool overachieved and won the league this year the pressure on the new guy would’ve been immense. Maybe it’s good in a weird way that they’ve only won the carabao cup. I think maybe it gave the team a bit of a boost, but I think now the emotion (and injuries) are catching up with them now.
