This guy is making an opportunity for himself, Korea is a huge market he's going to play football for a couple of years and then going into esport business because it's massive over there. Lingard came from a single parent household, where his mother had depression so he had to help raise his younger siblings. He's now a professional footballer & multimillionaire. He's done pretty well if you ask me. He's won an FA cup, League cup & the Europa Leauge. He's had a very successful career if you ask me. Could he have done more? Maybe. But that can be said about almost anyone

Any half decent footballer that's been given the footballing talent Jesse Lingard was given is a multi millionaire ..the talent is just an accident at birth and the money reward is just being born at the right time ..We all have difficulties in life and should only be congratulated if we come through them whilst remaining a good person... Lingard seems to be rather self serving with money being his main goal ..He also likes to promote his misfortune..he says he turned to drink. REASON : his mother's problems and the fans being on his back because of bad form .. Well that looks like the easy way out to me ,, he wasn't helping anyone if he was drinking .. and all the while on a hundred grand a week of course ..

Let alone score in cup finals and win an FA cup, League cup & Europa League. The grind to becoming a professional footballer is fiercely competitive. Playing for your school, then borough, then county, then trials, then youth teams, then dealing with injuries/rejection/fame. Money SEEMS to be his main goal, but at least that's after him winning some of the top trophies available in English/European football. 40% of the country is kids being raised by a depressed single mum. He had more talent than a young Lampard at WHU. Lampard just worked harder. Could you Imagine Lingard with 90 league goals in the past 10 years? Lampard had double that with Less talent than Lingard or Dele. All three got Jose in their primes only one became world class.

I'm from London, there are COUNTLESS kids that were as talented, or even more talented than Lingard yet they didn't make it as far as him. It's not just about talent, it's about hard work & luck (i.e. not getting a bad injury). I don't think you understand the grind of playing for the school, then the borough, then the county, then impressing scouts, then making it to a youth team, then going pro, then being a first team player in a pl team, then winning major trophies, then getting England caps. All this whilst dealing with real life issues & fame. So yes, Lingard has done very well. "He also likes to promote his misfortune..he says he turned to drink. REASON : his mother's problems" Can't it simply be a case that he's sharing his story & promoting awareness? Can't it be possible that his mother problems genuinely did lead him to drink?

I couldn't believe how he mugged off such a great and traditional Club like Forest last season. I thought it was absolutely appalling. Best paid player at the club and he couldn't be r'sed. I'm so happy Clubs over here more or less wised up to him over that and he more or less got black listed after that this summer. Never seen a player take an absolute liberty like him like he did with Forest.

Doesn't really sound like that though. Lingard has always had a bit of an ego problem, but he's never had the work ethic to stay at the top. That video came out recently where he's saying 'no' to all the material desires/distractions, like going out with friends, parties, late nights, and that his full focus is on football. And there are also the rumours that he offered himself to barcelona. Doesn't really sound like someone who wants to give up the highest level does it?
