Ipswich have done absolutely amazing even last year. To accumulate almost 190 points & 190 goals(for) & lose only 10 games so far in 2 seasons is phenomenal to say the least!!! The new ownership and Mark Ashton and others have done a phenomenal job turning the club around in such a short space of time, and Mc Kenna is a highly intelligent man, a brilliant communicator, a top quality manager as well as being a gifted football coach and a football manager

This just seems such a natural fit. Kieran McKenna was assistant to Jose Mourinho who was assistant to Bobby Robson.

The narrative that Ipswich are slipping is a false narrative, as in the form table for the last six games, Ipswich are second, only Norwich have got more points, people say our defence is dodgy, yet only Bristol City have conceded fewer. Only Southampton have scored more goals, and for us, our focus just needs to be winning at Hull, and by then we will know exactly what we need to do, and our 100% focus will be on winning at Hull. When we then go to Coventry, everyone else will have just one game remaining, so if Leeds and Leicester keep slipping, we could even secure promotion with a win there. The stuff happening in the background at Ipswich is incredible, and we have world class training facilities being built soon, at the blueprint stage, as well as us applying for Category One Academy Status

Even if McKenna falls short he still deserves manager of the season.. took over Ipswich brought them to the championship season straight after on the verge of back to back promotions n to go to the premier league! Some achievement if he can pull it off

I hope that Ipswich Town do secure the second automatic promotion position because they thoroughly deserve to go up to the Premier League. Nobody really imagined that they would do as well as what they have done but they are absolutely flying under McKenna's stewardship. What's more, if they invest wisely during the summer i could actually see them finishing around mid-table in next season's Premier League campaign. Well done to the Tractor Boys for managing to stay up in the top 6 all season, their story is the best advert for English football since Leicester City were the Premier League champions.
