Simona is such a strog player, physically but also mentally. She showed us that even a 4 h match can not drag her down, because SHE IS ON FIREE. She is Australian Open Champion 2018 for sure!

BeautyAgePerfect Mmmm that might be true, if Hsieh hasn't got tired she would have won, I saw the match and Angie was really desperate. But Angie faces Keys and I'm sure she will win cause Keys is playing good but simply can't win too many times against counter-pounchers... And Angie is playing brilliant and has a favorable H2H against Keys.

@@djordjenikolic9059 However, the fact still stands. Osaka's game at the time was really one dimensional. It just proves what an improvement she has made to her game. Looking forward to her trying to go to the net more often and not hugging the baseline as much as she did in this year ao.

Simona teach a lesson to a over rated girl. Almost all newspapers compared her play with Serena and she started even to belive this. This is how the press can destroy a young girl who need to work harder instead of listening any comparison with superstars.

Fast forward 2 years and this girl you called overrated won 6 of the biggest tournaments including 3 Grand Slam titles at Australian Open and US Open ( twice ) , and 2 Premier Mandatory titles at Indian Wells and Beijing

She already reached the semifinal in Stuttgart and quarterfinal in both Madrid and Rome, all on clay, and quarterfinal in Birmingham on grass 2 years ago. That was before she hired Wim Fissette, the coach that helped so many players win or reached final/semifinal at Wimbledon and the FO. Last year she trained a lot on red clay in LA under Wim before she won US Open. When there is a will, there is a way. She is after all very ambitious, and has a game to succeed on both surfaces, especially on grass, just need to make some adjustments
