A 15.2 on Beam??!!! That's RIDICULOUS!!! Best Beam Routine I've seen Simone do since adding the upgrades. Let's Go Team USA

+trinibwoy27 Actually, a 15.2 is a huge score on BB in this World Championship. She's going to win the BB EF if she continues to perform like this. Unless the Chinese have the routine of their life. I don't think anyone else received higher than a 15 during the TF on BB.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT! Simone's consistency is astounding especially considering her level of difficulty is so high.

+Thang Vuong Yes, and she added an effortless front 1/2(a F skill). And she has the G rated full in dismount connected to two bhs.

+Vette gaddia She's actually only credited with an E skill (a normal barani) instead of a Grigoras which is an F (front tuck with a half twist). She twists too early for it be credited as an F.

***** Wow, you must have a very trained eye to see that. It looked like a front 1/2 that Sui did when she won. And I thought I have a good eye for gymnastic skills.

Vette gaddia Haha, I really don't! I just read a lot about gymnastics, and someone else pointed it out to me! Once you compare Sui Lu's front half to Simone's barani and look closely you can really see the difference! You can tell Sui Lu goes into a front tuck and then twists, whereas Simone starts twisting immediately at the take off.

Vette gaddia Yes, she added the barani this year, but I wish she kept the pike front she has been competing all season.

she has fixed her "arm position" while doing her wolf turns both on BB and FX and it looks awesome. I'm. of a huge fans of these turns because many just let their arms flail around. great job Simone!!

The judges are being ridiculous that routine deserved at least an 15.750 and their doing it too all the gymnasts but great job Simone!

That screen in the background would be so distracting to me if I was a gymnast! But it certainly didn't seem to bother Simone at all! Way to go, awesome routine!!

+budgetbeautiful Yes! The strange time lag...it's even distracting to me as a viewer! Once I was talking to a radio show & forgot to turn down the radio, the time lag between me talking & hearing myself got my brain so scrambled I absolutely could not speak. Guess I won't become a gymnast anytime soon.

+budgetbeautiful Don't some practice areas have mirrored walls? It would be sort of the same thing, right? The cheering for the British girl (Fragapane) on floor should have been a bigger distraction, one would think - unless of course you are Simone Biles and have nerves of steel. :)

It's not that there is a mirror image, it's that there is a slight time lag. That would be very disconcerting.

Someone wrote on a gymnastic MB that Simone peaked and is done. I was thinking WTF are you smoking, she has never been better. She had a few minor mistakes in AA but still won by a full point!!! She was a bit nervous about breaking records. Break those records girl. She is on FIRE. ALL SIMONE DOES IS W I N~!

Honestly she could probably do a quadruple turn in tuck stand. She still had so much momentum and was in total control when she fjnished the 2.5 turn lol

I think if the code of points would reward the harder dance elements, Simone would definitely work on a triple and possibly quad wolf turn.

Absolutely stunning! However, that scoreboard is horrible, especially the live display of the routine. Have we become so tech obsessed that we can't just be in the moment and watch the actual routine itself?
