We took a trip to Home Depot and came back with some fun flowers for the studio! We 3D printed Pinky, Blinky, Inky and Clyde in Bambu Lab Silk and Polymaker Silk PLA.

Awesome. I love making functional stuff when I can. These are the perfect size for my desk, lots of fun colors and love the retro Pac-Man. That Bambu A1 Mini really looks to be a very capable machine.

How long would a flowerpot like this survive in direct sunlight or on a balcony? Heard that they don't last that long but feels like the correct primer, uv-paint and maybe varnish should solve it.

Print it in PETG and it will last forever! PLA in direct sunlight will likely deform and fade.

i got the A1 Mini, I've printed 550 hours with only one fault caused by the printer. In all that time I've had 4 prints fail, one was a layer shift, so i did maintenance and that went away, and the 3 other prints was simply incorrect print profiles that made the print look like ****. i can't say good anough things about the A1 mine. I downgraded from a custom build ender 5 plus to the A1 Mini, and i haven't look back since. No more tinkering more than printing. I just send the sliced model to the printer and it just works.

Do u have drain holes or a reservoir to keep roots from sitting in water?

The Pac-Man does, but these did not, we will only water them slightly, or I can poke a hole in the bottom if I get concerned.

I went to print the ghost today. When I pulled it off the printer it had a couple scars on it. In looking at the the model after being sliced in Bambu Studio, you can see the scar on it. Was wondering if anyone else is having this issue? (I followed the link provided to get the file).

Have you looked into the Commander X16? Its a modern version of the Comodore 64 and the brainchild of the youtuber 8-Bit Guy. Also no oddish planter from pokemon? 😞
