I remember my 1st one from watching u. My daughter in-law kept it. That's all she wants me to make. My other one finally took them from the babies and put them on a shelf. I told her I said before hang them on the trees on the horse trails there

Thank you as always for your generosity in teaching the world your carving skills😊 I need your advice, I am not a very rich guy but if initially I but a kutzall extreme burr will that help in getting started ? Then over a period of time I can buy the other profiles.😊 as an when you have the time I shall appreciate your kind advice . I love this art form. Thanks again Jordy.

@@CarvingFusion Thanks! I was wearing safety glasses & thin leather work gloves. I also put my piece of wood in a vice to hold it firm. It's a 3 1/2 inch round length of pine firewood. Then I was sitting & using the flex shaft thing. But I only have the dremel bits & you're so right that they suck. I still was having a great time though! Even if I didn't make much progress because you just can't remove alot of material. I clicked your link to those nicer bits & saw the price. So I was wondering, if maybe you could advise me on which ones I should buy besides just the flame one in your video? Are there maybe 3 or 4 that would be enough to get me going? Or a set I should look for? Also, if I buy it through your link do you get anything? It would be nice if you did! I subscribed & I'll go watch more of your videos. Your demonstration made it alot less daunting to try & was enjoyable to watch. I definitely want to do this more! Lol

@@bludaizee24 hes i make a few cents and its helps the chnl, get the taper burs in etream and normal grits, id get both styles, taper and one that looks like a cone if u want :)

Put it all the way into the handpiece, Slow it down, Grip it stronger, Hope rhis helps

Iv just started to do this exact project jordy, I’m using a corse (not extreme ) flame burr , it slightly jumps and drags across the wrong part of the timber, Is this because it’s slightly struggling and catching rather than cutting right through ? It’s also treated pine from a old garden project so not sure if the chemicals they use to treat are effecting the carve. Any tips be appreciated

I myself would not carve treated wood for that reason and maybe try slowing the speed down
