@@theadster2702 When people say you need to be saved, what exactly is that? You think all the good people out there who are confused about God and what to believe just go strait to Hell because they don't get Baptized? Let Jesus decide what happens to people when they die. No one is perfect which is why he had to die for us in the first place. The only reason we get a second chance is because of what he did for us. People talk too much about Damnation instead of God's Mercy.

Please don't ask any dead Saint to pray for you or pray to them or any prophets , or with any rosary. JESUS is the only mediator : We are constructed not to consult the dead Deuteronomy 18:10-13 King James Version 10 There shall not be found among you any one that .....or a consulter with familiar spirits (the spirit of a dead person invoked by a medium to advise or prophesy) , or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the Lord: and because of these abominations the Lord thy God doth drive them out from before thee. King James Bible 1 Timiothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus Also only worship God alone, not the pope, any saint or mary, that is commting the great sin of idolatry. Exodus 20:3-6 King James Version 3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Please repent! If you were to die today, are you a 100% sure you will go to heaven? If no, here is what the bible says, (1) Romans 3:23 KJV [23] For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Q1. Do you know what Sin is? Sin is anything bad that we have done. Q2. Have you sinned before? Yes or No? (2) Revelation 21:8 KJV [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Because they have sinned, and God does not allow Sin into Heaven, the punishment is burning hell. What is the way to reconcile our peace and relationship with God? Q3. Do you know the Story of Jesus? (3) Romans 5:8 KJV [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus = God who lived up in Heaven, but he came down on earth and became a man like us, he lived for 33.5 years without committing any sin. Then there were certain people who were jealous and therefore framed him on phony charges, and crucified him. Then he was buried and resurrected on the third day; Now he lives in HEAVEN. Q4. Do you know why Jesus went through all this bloody mess for us? A4. As mentioned, our sin is the reason why we can’t go to heaven, and the only thing that can wash away our sin is the Blood of Jesus. (4) Romans 5:9 KJV [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. According to the bible, the only way for us to reconcile with God is through Christ Jesus’s blood, and not through any works that we do or merits we accumulate, such as water baptism, attending church, or any good thing that we do. The following verses clearly support this. (5) Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV [8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast. (6) 2 Corinthians 7:10 KJV [10] For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. In order to get saved, repentance of one’s sin is needed to get saved, we need to be sorry, and repent, with conviction, that we are a wretched sinner. (7) Romans 10:9 KJV [9] That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. If you truly do believe in everything you have heard in the gospel, ,I strongly suggest you to make a proclamation to GOD! You can say it to God in less than 15 seconds !Repeat after this simple prayer, to make sure you truly get saved. Remember repeating this prayer doesn't save you, it's you telling God you BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. Ok, here is the prayer : ‘Dear GOD, I know I am a sinner, as I repent, I put my faith, that Jesus is GOD, and that he died, buried and resurrected, so that his blood, can wash away my Sins. I put my faith in that alone to save me, not my good works. In Jesus’s holy name, I pray. Amen! Congratulations ! Now you are a child of God. Download /Buy a KJV bible (I highly suggest getting a hard copy bible , as one day, it will be illegal to buy, own or even have an online version of the bible) and search for youtube channel like REAL Bible Believers , Spencer Smith to help you grow , study dispensationalism to understand the bible ( How do we reconcile the verses in the New Testament that tell us that we need works to show our faith, and another that tells us that nothing that can take our salvation away? That's why we need to study biblical dispensationalism to rightly divide the word of God.( study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, 2 Timithy 2:15) (I recommend the dispensationalism video from Genesis to Revelations by Dr. Gene Kim, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/fa9kdteWqqzcf58.html) , join a bible believing church. Would a loving father abuse and torment his children? It seems guilt, pain and suffering are all your God is capable of giving, twisting your mind into actually desiring and loving the abuse. Is Christianity about christ or an obsession with eternal pain. Like the abused housewife who runs back to her wicked husband time after time, Christianity calls for us to return again and again to the hand that holds the bloodied whip, to receive punishment and abuse and torment from a "loving" God again and again for no purpose other than pain and guilt.

I take my little Missalet in English, and I follow along best I can and all that. But like the Homily or Prayers of the Priest... I have no idea lol But with the growing of my Faith.. I couldn't careless. I take the moments I don't understand the words and spent it silently talking to Jesus in my own heart. So, if Mass is boring for you... I encourage you to learn more about it. I have had many priests who are hard to follow. Despite that, the mass is still the star. The priest is merely the host. So when people say I don’t get anything out of mass, my question is what do you contribute? If the homily is how the mass is gauged, imo you need a faith adjustment. Even a bad priest brings Jesus to the altar. I’m truly not trying to be ugly, but just something to consider. 🙏🏻🕊️

@@dopeyrn1 I get what your saying, people have many definitions on what the virtue give them, but I think when Jesus gives us graces, they effect us in different ways. My thing is about mass is that if I feel like Jesus is in the room with me when I hear a homily, then I feel engaged. That's why we go in the first place. The Catholic faith is nothing without Jesus, and some days, even though God is always there for us, we just can't connect with him, were like radios, all we can do is try our best to treat each other right and live the way he would want us to.

Good morning Father. I loved the sermon. ✝️ ❤ In my opinion.... the church analogy only works to a point though. Some churches/congregations AREN'T _filled with love for our Lord_ . A person might feel repelled because of phoniness, lip service paid to our Lord, the focus being on impressing the world or each other rather our Lord. I once attended a Sunday Mass away from home at a church that had the choir up front on one side of the "stage" with altar on the other side. The Tabernacle was in a little room at the back of the church with a door, with an easy chair inside. It felt, to me, like they were giving Jesus a room over the garage. Everyone was encouraged though to come afterward to the _Fellowship Hall_ on the other side of the lobby for coffee and the silent auction. At a different church, that was near my home, there would be so much going on around the centered altar, the communion distributors etc. surrounded the altar, dancing to the hymn, chatting and laughing and whatever else, and then, while we waited for the commotion to stop and the Consecration to begin, it would be time to go up to Communion. ???What? The Consecration was lost in all that somewhere. It was sort of like a "Mass - The Musical" informal production. That got old quick and it was pretty much the same every Sunday. It felt like pretending to attend Mass. It felt like lip service was paid to our Lord but that there was no respect for Him. It brings a tear to my eye just remembering it. So, anyway, tho I understood where you were going with the analogy, as I remembered those experiences, I wondered if, perhaps, feeling repelled might sometimes, in some circumstances, be a good sign, rather than bad.

There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. Thank you for always trying to speak up and encouraging us to do so, too. What if the people are less than enthusiastic? I see those in church who don't say the responses and don't try to sing. God hears even the worst voice and it sounds wonderful to him. I don't get it. Where's the fire of their love for Christ? Makes me sad. Sometimes I think it's the priest. He seems more focused on instilling fear in us rather than focusing on God's love for us. That is one reason why I watch you, Fr. Mark, and Fr. Ken every Sunday. You have taught me that God loves me no matter what. I've had a major turnabout in my relationship with my Papa God. Knowing the sinner that I am and the power that Christ holds all of the above gives me hope. TY Fr Goring 🙏

Maybe you had a fever coming on? The rosary has no power...it is just a bunch of remote words that glorify Mary. Mary was a woman who was a perfect example of someone following the will of God. Mary should not be prayed to...she is dead. She has NO Powers. The bible tells us of NOT praying to the dead.....IN FACT, it HIGHLY prohibits it. Please read your Bible to hear of the truths. Mark spoke of purgatory...there is no purgatory. Jesus is soon to return....find out the truths or you will be left behind.

@@roddycavin4600 Prayer is speaking to God...directly. You do not need to pray remote control words...Jesus wants to hear from YOU from your heart...not mindless repetition . I see many catholics saying they can't stand their new worship of christ, and they still want to worship their saints. They don't have to, this time it is about saving souls, we are not forcing. We are proclaiming, shouting and praising.

I love the story of the 3 holy youths in the furnace. I have an Ethiopian icon of them on my wall, alongside icons of the Virgin and Christ child, the Samaritan Woman, the Holy Trinity, and the Holy Family. I never thought about the story the way you interpreted it. I did believe that the 3 youths entered the fire in the confidence that heaven awaited them. It must have been like a near death experience for them. They entered heaven, but they were sent back as a sign to faithless humanity.

Please pray for me. I'm like the person who tries to make it to Mass but sometimes I do act like I don't want to be there and I'm not hanging out or being with the congregation (I'll leave early and I'll try to sit up front to take communion faster). Regarding what Fr. Mark says about people loving being there and praising I think that (what I think may not be the truth) there are people who can really put on an act when it comes to praise and reverence at any church. I feel that sometimes there are people praying, praising, and going through the motions for optics or for their loved ones and friends. Jesus did say these people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far removed from me too. But I do pray the rosary as best I can, I confess, I spend time in front the blessed sacrament, and I enjoy going to church on my own and just praying and meditating. I know that corporal worship and fellowship is important, but I feel that some (not all) of those participating in Mass can also be putting on a charade.

I experienced a profound conversion experience back in 1995. I was hearing locutions constantly at night when I lay down to sleep, from Jesus, the Blessed Mother, and my guardian angel for 6 months. In one of these locutions, the Blessed Mother told me that I will go "straight to heaven"!! Nonetheless, I continue to strive for that goal!! The most memorable locutiin/vision I had was of Jesus. I heard Him say - "I Am the Living Bread that came down from heaven....LIVING Bread.....LIVING"! Then I saw a monstrance burst into light.

There are some of us who go to church with an attitude of criticism and condemnation! They spread this to others and cause us to fall into that category. Of wanting to pick out and point out any flaws! I fell prey to this pattern for some time and the Lord pointed it out to me. Even though it's confessed one still needs to be alert to it happening again, because there are many critics of the church today!

I have been so looking forward to going to live with Jesus and seeing my family and friends who are already there. Now I'm worried. I will say. The reason I’m not comfortable per say when I go to churches. Is I’ve seen arrogance and hypocrisy. I’ve seen people be two faced. I’ve seen people act like they love God but then go out and spread hate. I’m in this category as well. I’m not perfect. But I acknowledge my shortcomings and I ask God to use me as he can. With my weakness. I just get bothered when others pretend like they are holier than tho or perfect in every way.

I think his point was that it’s a red flag if we hate being around the worship of God in general. I have a problem with the implication that our feelings indicate the state of our souls. Don’t we all have times when we just don’t feel like going to mass but we go anyway out of love for and need of the Lord?
