the question is : if that is a fashiaosis (maybe not well spelled sorry, meaning dead tissue being removed by inflammatory process) issue, in what way would a taping help recovery ? ok, if you have to deal with it no matter what (and expect further increase of the injury), you can go for tapings, cold, antinflammatory/antipain ... But that would be only if the deal is really worth it (big competition or whatever), cause you gonna pay afterwards. Would rather go for sleep+heat+massage+blood vessel dilatating diet (beet or any NO+antioxidant providing natural food). Can't get why removing tension on the dead tissue to be able to stand still would help recovery. And such an injury isn't caused by some impact or overtraining (except than over-wearing injuring-bad-shape shoes), so it won't appear in the middle of a competition, right ?
