Also, if you wanted to add vertex paint (for details like dirt, rust, grime) you’d need to add more faces&vertices in your mesh. Personally I would use blender, make a 4x4 wall out of a plane and subdivide with a value of 6

I used this simple version three times this morning for wallpaper that I was trying us use the Modeling Project version of UVs just to make do. You've made my day. I may reach out and I thank you for that offer. I've been using computers for 60 of my almost 80 years old. I know what ticker tape and punch card are. And when computers had 1mg hard drives that "would never be filled." Ha My phone has more than that. I've joined your patreon ... we'll see about the update. Until the next time. -L-

The only draw back for worldalign nodes is when you have diagonal shapes. It kinda distorts/bends weirdly. Rotate the wall by 45 degrees and you’ll see what I mean.

it's great for having consistency with tiled textures like bricks, wooden flooring and wallpaper.

Great Vid, I need to separate the UV X and Y but get cant do float2 to float3. Do you have a way to do this?

What about Roughness?

Roughness and metallic can be used with constants 0 to 1 value or a scalar parameter, S on keyboard then left click name it roughness connect it in to roughness set to the required value. 0.1 very reflective 1 non reflective.
