*SimplePLanes Might Have some Major Flaws, but I have a Major Addiction! :)*

I guess what simple planes lack is depth, multiplayer, better ai, more/better game modes and more parts (esp. weapons, more boom more fun). It's done what it's supposed to be, arguably it's perfected where it's supposed to be but I think we need some changes, big changes, expansions actually

I think the biggest thing Simpleplanes could add is to have downloadable custom made mission/challenge by the user. That would make it so much different if the dev can just give the player the tools.

You could start a replica series... I think the process of making a replica and making memes on the stuff that goes wrong in the process could be a pretty content rich and fun experience / vid format, not to mention there is a lot of vehicles you can make replicas of. What you describe, to me, fits the vibe of martincitopants’ stuff so if true then I recon this’d be a nice thing to try. Just a thought :) Also saw the 1.11 update and starting to get back into SP and these vids are a good laugh so much appreciated 👍

Personally, I love your humor. Sure, you can do a tutorial, but so can anyone else. Not many people, especially those that are aviation/engineering focused like many SP players, can’t do your humor. So keep it up! It makes you unique!

As for other games, would you consider "From the Depths" It's one of those building/combat sandboxes that mostly focuses on ships. I'm sure you could get some humor out of it while playing.

Mate ever since I saw 1 of your videos I kept on goin on the next ones, I see what you mean and honestly I would keep on watching your vids. They're funny, it's not cringe it's entertaining and it actually made me try to make better builds in sp which....kinda worked? Idk basically, don't worry too much about it. Your content is good so it will gain a fanbase that will stick with you no matter what. What ever you play it's still you, that's why I liked your vids. Sure I liked sp but you made it entertaining. I’ve been thinking about this before. While I love this game, it’s not as easy to make entertaining as games with specific missions/tasks in mind.

There's a new game on the block called Sprocket, if you're interested in building extremely cursed tanks or decent ones you can try that one. I'm not a subscriber nor a frequent viewer I'm just a random stranger giving ideas out, If you're burned out making tutorial videos or anything about simple planes try other games or be a variety. Yeah This is really true Most Simpleplanes video on KZfaq is just mostly tutorials So I did something different which is painful sometimes but sometimes its fun and could give inspiration to others. Also I wanna see you play beam.ng lol

I can relate with you too. I still like the idea. I built ornithopters and that is fine. I would like to see more execution in the later updates because what we have now is (so far in the case of the new update and VR) a step in the right direction. I agree with your saying of lack objectives besides building and having fun. I wish to play Beamng Drive, but I don't have adequate hardware to run it. I hope it comes out on console. (XBOX and Playstation)

Well, yep, I got really hyped on the Gauges update and quickly updated my simple planes app. But then I begin to get bored of the gauges at the time, I can't even complete an aircraft with cockpit cuz I'm so bored at paneling again and again... I just want the old update back when everything was more complicated than now.

I do agree with the points you make about Simple Planes, but i get more enjoyment out of sharing my designs and seeing others designs. my BIG issue is that i make a lot of simplistic models so i have a large backlog of planes that will likely never get shared because you can only post 2 planes a day. i understand its anti-spam but it would be nice to see it raised to say 5 or 6. yes it would allow the community page to be FLOODED with a lot of things, and especially in my case, variants of planes that make minor changes here and there but it would still be nice to see i think.

How can I give any aircraft a realistic amount of drag? Setting all of the parts to 0.1 drag scale gave me a more realistic drag model for a fighter jet, but when I applied this to a small prop-powered recon UAV, it managed to reach the edge of supersonic flight. Even with a power-to-weight ratio of 0.064, the UAV has a top speed of 603 knots in level flight.

I think simple planes would greatly beneficiate from multi-player. Of course it means hosting, but the devs could make so servers are hosted by the player, that's Minecraft 's system and it works well.

The AI and physics is what really is bad to me. I mainly just fly downloaded planes having fun, but the AI in dogfighting mode isnt great. They dont really do any tricky maneuvering, it just constantly turns directly into you, not where you will be later as in leading, but where you are which is just not great. And the acceleration physics arent great. You dont lose any speed making tight turns and they dont incorporate low speed maneuvering

Imagine the next simpleplanes update is weapons but thrusters are better

the fact that they update the game once a year and exactly 1 year later after the last update. I really hope the next update would be an engines update. Engines now feels lacking for me, I always feel like they should add more engines and probably aesthetics update.

Actually I think the fact that SP is a game of "Oh how cool would it be to do this idea and try it out and now I have a great creation that was really fun to make" and after a few hours you want to try another idea why don't you has nothing else to do with your creation, it's a very serious problem. I think in the end people accepted that kind of thing in the game.

I am completely new here. I just really enjoy SimplePlanes. I also enjoyed this video. But you could ask your subscribers if they were willing to watch other content such as besieged or beamng. Games that are somewhat similar. Besieged would be great.

Another point why dogfighting in sp is dog.. well.. shit Is because most creators who make replicas don't make them in accurate dimensions.. or accurate flight controls.. for example i wanna dogfight a mig-29 with an f-16 I'm controlling.. if i downloaded both planes from the website and from different creators there's no way the dogfight is gonna be fair and that kills the fun in it Because let's say the guy that made the mig made it go mach 2 in 10 seconds and the guy that made the f-16 made it realistically accurate.. so that's the problem there aint gonna be no fun to fight an op plane That's why I mostly dogfight with planes i build

The reason I don't enjoy most of the tutorials on KZfaq is either they're too cringy, or they're taking it too seriously, which gets boring quickly. Take a look at mart, I enjoy and learned more stuff from him than I most likely would trying to search and learn the thing.
