NARROW LIVING in Snowy Escape | Sims 4 Speed Build
I built another modern-ish thin narrow house for your sims. This fits 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, bathroom and a living room all under one roof! I tried to incorporate more of the traditional new wallpapers and wooden testures in this build. I really like them! How about you?

I know you were asking for suggestions for a traditional build, but honestly I would love to see you build one of Japan's shopping streets. They are so vibrant and colorful and filled with food vendors, little shops, maybe there could be a cat cafe or tea shop and other tiny shops there. That is one thing I am kind of missing from what I've seen in this pack because they do have some buildings that look like businesses, like along the river, but none of those are usable so it would be so nice to have a community lot that feels like it's bustling with small shops. For example, if you look up Takeshita Street you will get an idea of what it looks like. I feel like you would have more creative freedom and less pressure than if you made a traditional landmark

i showed this to my japanese grandma and she said this apartment would be cursed because of the way you used the black fence thing, you made it look like a prison lmao

i can't recommend you one specific building but you could look up 'machiya'. a machiya is an old wooden and traditional merchant townhouse. they often got a small garden called tsubo-niwa and a very special hallway/entrance called tori-niwa. the hallway were build in a special way to keep noises low in order to not disturb neighbors. shibori is a dying technique and the color used for shibori is called ai (indigo). first use of that color from indigo plant were around the 7th century and if I remember correctly it was one of the first dyeing colors that were used. it is also an antibacterial and were used for wounds.

if there is any way possible... you could please incorporate this house into the other narrow house lot. I am instantly inspired by these builds to create a multi-family story with a native/local family in this more traditional style house befriending a foreign family who have moved into the house in the previous build and welcoming them to this world.. maybe the teens go to school together at the school you built, and they all hike to the mountain pagoda together- I want everything you've built for this pack in my game

Hey, Fry! Ok girl, this is my STYLE! I freakin love this build. That picture of the lady in the purple dress on the top floor is almost exact to one I have. My only dig is that weird diagonal jut on the outside. I like the way it looks on the inside though so beggars can't be choosers. Just freakin stunning!

I believe that japanese blue is at least based on prussian blue, or, as it was sold in germany, Berliner Blau. Most famous for being the only color (besides white) in a japanese painting of waves and sea foam.

so this dye only comes in blue?

@@Simproved Well, I think it's based on the ink. The pattern looks a bit inky. And the blue looks dark and deep enough to fit prussian blue. That however shouldn't prevent them from using different dyes - maybe other ink dyes.
