I can honestly say I have loved all of the content you created, from LPs, to reviews, cook-with-me's, and vlogs. You have been a light in my life and I hope you can heal from this. I agree with the number of lots part. I hate how The Sims 4 worlds are kinda empty. I'm an occult player and would love to make Forgotten Hollow a complete city with many families, nightclub, library, retail business, park... But it only has FIVE LOTS.

I'm glad that this expansion is positive. I see myself as a huge sims fan anytime you talk about the Sims 4 issues I feel your pain wholeheartedly, it's a game I'm desperate to like but there is so much more to improve on. Seeing how Carls (as in Carl's Sims Guide) improved the game so quickly with his difficulty mod has amazed me further.

What I would’ve improved: • A LOT more lots •more animals like pigs, sheep’s and goats •our animals (not only the chickens“ being able to have babies and our animals also ageing •being able to have the bunnies as official pets •horses. Yes, horses aren’t real farm animals but they would fit to the world and setting and another big neighbourhood ONLY for the horses and to ride them would’ve been so cool. Also being able to choose if you want the horse to live on your lot (if you live at the countryside and maybe even have a Farm) or owning the horse but the horse lives in a stable in this neighbourhood •fairies, GOOD fairies and/or werewolves, GOOD werewolves

Your Sims 2 content was always interesting even though it’s such an old game. I’m sorry somebody went out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I havent played with the lactose intolerance trait, but glad to see it has a way of warning you that you're clicking on an unsafe item. I am sick of vegetarian sims eating meat autonomously and occasionally I'll forget myself when I'm juggling multiple sims. It should definitely add something for clicking on items that contain meat

From someone who doesn't care about farming, I was pleasantly surprised by this pack and ended up playing with it for months, which was crazy for me! And even now, I still use elements of the pack for nearly every family. Also for the oversized crops - size depends on fertilization, so you can end up with massive 1-crop-per-plot pumpkins, etc. which is fun!

This pack is good but still too small for the price. And doesn't feel like an expansion, it's more of a game pack (like most of the expansions).

The reason you can only plant one type of plant on the new plots is that the better you grow the plants, the bigger each gets, so the plants get thinned (uproot some plants) and you keep the biggest ones..the bigger the crop, the more space it needs :)

Cindy I always enjoy watching your honest reviews! I was going to wait until the pack was on sale to purchase it but I couldn’t wait so I actually got it shortly after the release date. I personally really enjoy this pack and love that content from other packs (Eco lifestyle and nifty knitting for example) work really well with it. I made a family where they are living on a farm and sell everything they make/harvest on their lot (using a home business mod of course haha) and that’s how they make their income. It’s a lot of fun. I also love the simple living lot trait!

Hi Cindy! I quite enjoy Cottage Living, so about the milk with Lactose intolerant Sims, you can take any crafted items and sell them at the grocery/garden stalls in town!! It'll help make your Sim more money especially if they don't have a job. Hope this helps :) also Veggie treats make cows produce "mighty plant milk" lol.

I would love to see more info of Crumplebottom across the sims series :) I’m so thankful for your back to back uploads. The oversized crops are so dis-jointed from the normal crops, in a way that's pretty jarring I think it would've made more sense if the oversized crops were something that could happen if you planted 4 of the same normal crop in a planter and took good care of them

Hey Cindy! With the crops, the more you fertilise them and encourage the crop growth, the less produce you’ll end up with, but better quality and worth a lot more. You can also enter your best single crops into the oversized crop fair! I had a 40 kilo pumpkin that won!!! Say, 4 aubergines is ok, 2 is good, and 1 huge one will sell for heaps! You can also sell them back at the grocery store!!! So happy you like the gameplay, definitely a step up from what it has been I think 😊

Just an FYI they patched in the cross stitching like/dislike hobby a few days ago, on the 17th I think. It didn't come with the pack on release, typical of EA to release half baked content

This pack has been really fun to play with. I love that you can knit clothes for all the new animals, it makes knitting feel more impactful to more packs. Also even though they're a townie family, the mayor and grocer male teen are available to move into a house and they start with good and bad relationships with other households in the town, including ex romances and budding ones. I always move them into a house even if I don't end up playing them.

Personally the main thing I think this pack lacks is the ability to do everything yourself. The pack wants to focus on the living off the land gamestyle which is alright thats the theme. So I should be able to make the flour myself, make the bread myself etc etc

I'm literally trying every way I can to remain in contact with you. I really hope you receive at least one of these Cindy! I've just been shed light on the situation regarding Discord and some drama; I've been pretty much absent from the Channel & Discord so I'm so confused and behind on everything. I don't think I have been given the entirety of the story (if there is one) but either way, I'm not taking 'sides' or anything and I am not going to comment what was right or wrong because it's none of my business and I wasn't involved so I have no opinion on the matter. In fact, I'm staying well away from the situation entirely. I've had my fair share of drama within the Discord, as we all can remember, and I have truly learnt my lesson. So from that I can say that we all make mistakes and we can all learn from them. I'm here to simply to tell you that I hope that you're okay and that you take time to care for your wellbeing. I hope all mods and people who took part in the server are doing well. I know many will miss the server. I'm not sure if I understood correctly whether you're taking a hiatus or have stopped entirely on advancing your KZfaq career, in which case I am heartbroken to hear this. You worked so hard to get to where you are and you enjoyed what you were doing whilst connecting with your fans. I really hope a Discord server can thrive again sometime in the future as it was a great place for help, sharing gameplay, chatting all about Sims and just having fun. I do have a tip that might help if a future server is a possibility. Discord has a feature to put a time restriction on certain (or all) sections and you can have them for as long as 30 minutes. This is a great way to prevent spam and more time for the mods to sort out and remove anything they deem unsuitable or against the rules. I haven't been in your Discord for a few months as I have been mostly active over on Facebook in The Sims 2 group so I don't know if this was actually incorporated before in your Discord during the time that I have been absent but I thought I'd mention it anyway just in case. This is truly saddening. It truly is. I'd like to keep in contact, if at all possible, just to check in with how you are. Here's for a better future, Shannon

EXACTLY! Ive said that too, that expansion packs in sims 4 doesn’t expand gameplay. For me personally, an expansion pack should still be good WITHOUT the world as well. So thats how I personally rate expansion packs. In total we have like 2 full expansions and 3 half-assed expansion: which are in descending order: -Seasons -Eco lifestyle -Cats and dogs -Discover University -Get to work (Still extremely bad and lacks any meaningful content) (Get famous fits the criteria but the low amount of content doesn’t differentiate it from a game pack)

I haven't messed with the canning, and that's awesome that they have a proper little animation for it! You can can things on your stove, you don't have to have a fancy setup for it, as long as you do put the jars inside pots to boil, both to sterilize everything, and to, yeah, basically set the canned food up properly. They're really lacking in cooking animations, so it's nice to see that they did include more

I really like the errands too. It's a good way to earn some money and, since a lot of the townies ask for the new oversized crops and stuff that can mostly be found in the new world, is a good way to explore the new content.

We live near a farm and get fresh eggs and milk delivered. Feels so much nicer supporting a small business rather than buying from a supermarket.
