Sindhi Biryani is a special aromatic and colorful biryani. You can make it with chicken or mutton. Potato uses in this recipe that makes it different from other biryani recipes. Very tasty and spicy recipe is great for dinner as a main dish.

Ingredients اجزاء
Rice 700 grams
چاول 700 گرام
Chicken 1 kg
چکن 1 کلو
Desi ghee ¾ cup
دیسی گھی ¾ کپ
Plums 100 grams
آلو بخارے 100 گرام
Yogurt 1 cup
دہی 1 کپ
Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
ادرک لہسن 2 ٹیبل سپون
2 Onions
پیاز 2 عدد
3 Tomatoes
ٹماٹر 3 عدد
7 green chilies
ہری مرچیں 7 عدد
Mint leaves
پودینے کے پتے
Fresh coriander
ہرا دھنیا
2 lemons
دو عذد لیموں
3 potatoes
آلو 3 عدد
2 bay leaves
تیج پات 2 عدد
White cumin 1 tsp
سفید زیرہ 1 ٹی سپون
5 cloves
لونگیں 5 عدد
7 green cardamoms
سبز الائچی 7 عدد
Black pepper ½ tsp
کالی مرچی ½ ٹی سپون
2 star anise
بادیان کے پھول 2 عدد
1 cinnamon stick of 2 inch
دارچینی کا ٹکڑا 1 عدد 2 انچ کا
Black cardamom 3 pcs
بڑی الائچی 3 عدد
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
لال مرچ پائوڈر 1 ٹی سپون
Turmeric powder (haldi) ½ tsp
ہلدی پائوڈر ½ ٹی سپون
Salt to taste
نمک حسب ذائقہ
Kewra water 2 tbsp
کیوڑہ واٹر 2 ٹیبل سپون
Food color
زردہ رنگ
Mace and nutmeg powder ½ tsp
جائفل جاوتری کا پائوڈر ½ ٹی سپون

My hobby is Cooking. I cook a lot of Singhi Biryani, at least twice a week but I use Packet Masala.. Thanks for showing how to cook the Sindhi Biryani with my own Masala. I also learnt something new that the Potatoes should first be blanced with Turmeric and then Fried. This is something new for me. Inshallah I will try it tomorrow. I have all the spices except Nutmeg. I will try without nutmeg. When I cook Biryani, it takes me at least an hour and a half and I think this will take two and a half hour. Extra time for frying the potatoes. Wish me Good Luck tomorrow.
