Seeing Ojisan drinking grape Yakult... Did you know that Singapore is the only country in the world that sells flavoured Yakult? Also, we have the biggest serving size (100mL). In most countries, including Japan, it is only 65mL.

Yeah I miss my grape yakult. Aus only has original flavour. Cost more per ml and the 65 ml bottle is so tiny I can’t drink straight from the bottle, need to pour it out.😫

The yakult here is already localised to fit the Singaporean market. The 100ml and 4 flavors are proof of that. There is a yakult factory in Singapore and I went there during a factory visit. The mini museum there has bottles from all around the world.

I prefered Yakult since young n so my kids somehow followed me.. never really like Vitagen, taste weird n i think YAKULT has somehow become v much of what we local love as i see many of the mommies here giving yakult to their children too, for as long as i can remember. Plus we have the yakult auntie delivering them directly to my house weekly :) Haha.. as for the pop corn, Eureka is gourmet popcorn origin from Malaysia, only popular during recent few years. Noted on your forewords of Singapore's snack are mostly imported. But we in Singapore also grew up with a certain type of popcorn, i don't eat it v often i just remembered long before all these imported but expensive popcorns craze we used to get from provision shop a big pack for $1 sweet popocorn with a fat man logo, now i think selling about $2. Don't know what is the name throught but i believe most provision shop still have it now (transparent packaging).. hehehe Next, err. By right chili crab potato chips should fall under Singapore team 😋 heehee Finally, congratulation on getting sponsorship. I believed more to come! Jia you oh!! 🎊🎊

Oh wow!! Testing fiesta! n a great bonding time with family!! Super like!! Yakult is just too sweet for me.. my gut prefers kimchi or Meiji yogurt as alternative source of probiotics. And consume a bit of kimchi daily can help improve skin condition too!! Hahaha. I tried getting marutai from shopee few months back and was out of stock!! Guess now is time to buy again!! =) I will try muji curry too!! If you like curry, have you tried Dancing chef curries? They also have butter chicken paste. One of my favorite curry brands. Although not made in Singapore. Lol! Try with kara coconut milk. It gives a robust flavour. Calbee .. yum!! =b And.. please be cautious with these heaty stuff ya!! Stay safe and healthy!!

I will prefer yakult as it's still good. Muji curry packs as it's interesting. Ramen on Japan 🇯🇵.. And Japanese beer as it's available in mediya at great world city, Don Don donki and jibiru craft beer etc.. ☺

Ghib san, try farmland Oregon fresh spicy chips, it is very cheap and very spicy! The spicy version is pretty hard to find though, so good luck!

When i was young, i like vitagen more as theres more and its sweeter. The grape version is the best and always sold out. But now, i prefer yakult original, less sweet and thicker

Yakult in singapore is entirely different since there are flavour that is only produce and are available in Singapore that normally you can't find in Japan.

I'm pretty sure Japanese snacks are superior not only in taste but also price. Singaporean snacks are ironically overpriced even though they're made for locals. Like the salted egg snack, price rose so insanely high after gaining popularity. Not to mention most Singaporean's go-to snack is the Calbee Hot and Spicy chips.

I tried family mart's salted egg yolk chips in japan but i was so disappointed :( they dilute down the ethnic taste so much and it just tasted like honey butter chips lol i miss irvins fml

You should try Vitagen Collagen less sugar . The Rose and Elderflower flavoured really nice ! Used to drink Yakult but changed to Vitagen as it's not so sweet.

A question of personal taste. Some of the items are Japanese products manufactured elsewhere and have to bear the country of origin on their packages. There will obviously be a difference in quality. If the item is made in Japan, it will accordingly be stated so. Then again made in Japan does not necessarily have Japanese ingredients. Here again quality will differ. So, how to get an item that is truly everything Japanese. Can Ghib san tell us or find out for us? Maybe we just have to accept that the made in Japan label means Japanese made and trust that the quality is Japanese.

Honestly it depend I have friend getting bad experience from ordering at shopee, she ordered food item and it had been touch before and there is hole poke into the bottle can you imagine ordering food item and not sure what they did to your food item .I seldom order food on shopee.l won't dare haha even if is cheap.
