I'm a P.T. and looking for something to share with my patients. Very good., thanks guys. I really like you "famous" physical therapists!😁 To patients, just remember if it hurts Don't Do it. These are progressive exercises like they said at the beginning. The exercises should "feel good" like they said. Don't do the whole thing the first day. If ur just starting try the first or easy ones 3 days. If no problems/increase in pain can progress to more difficult ones as tolerated.

So helpful. Recovering from compression fracture and didn't know what core exercises I could do. Don't think I'll be doing anything that resembles crunches, however. Like the pelvic tilts and leg exercises to tighten core the best!

Because of you guys.... I have hope. I am 70, active and strong when I don't overdue gardening or lifting. I'm trying to rest and have to during this painful time. I don't know but it seems I have lumbar stenosis and sciatica. Your exercises help. Based on that, I've ordered the leg pillow. I have to heal my back. I'm looking into McKenzie book. Just medicatio won't solve anything. Thank you for you guys!!

back pain is the worst. I recently had it so bad I couldn't breath. I started sleeping sitting up w a neck brace to keep my head from flopping over bc whenever I woke up from laying I couldn't move without agony. I even tried a mat and the carpet. I can now lay down but I feel better on my temperpedic mattress rather than my reg., padded mattress I was using before.

I never had issues above the hips/ pelvis. My bulging disc caused pain only on the left side. Yet it started in the sacrum and created tingling in the outside of the foot, and the whole hamstring length. That never pain was the worst, and it was constant everyday and couldn't be stretched it. Even after 4 months i had zero relief. Finally a spine specialist prescribed indomethacin. Gabapentin was also prescribed. But after a refill, gaba did nothing afterwards

Had horrible low back pain from si joint. Physiotherapy for 4 months but therapist did not show me correct way to do core strengthening exercises. After doing your exercises for a few weeks my low back pain has decreased significantly. Thank you for that. Now if I could get rid of pain in behind which causes tingling in my leg close to ankle and numbness in my big toe I would be so happy. It seems when I do core exercises it flares the si joint and si joint exercises flare lower back, Any suggestions?

Hi guys I’m 63 broke my femur and twisted my left knee in the same incident they put pins in my femur but Missed a torn labrum went back in to fix the labrum after a year to no avail it was beyond repair next step with hip replacement where the doctor messed up I think I was never right after the surgery eventually went to another surgeon and found my pelvic was shattered he put in 13 screws and a plate through all this I’ve been dealing with A lot of pain in my left hip and my left knee I am currently seeing Physical Therapy ,aquatics twice a week and in their office once a week but I cannot seem to get over the hump what exercises can I do at home that might be beneficial besides the physical therapy I’m on a lot of pain meds which is a drag but without them it’s almost impossible to get up out of bed love your show if you could post something on your show that would be great thank you guys

@attonapz6081
@attonapz6081 6 жыл бұрын
CJ W how are you stretching your hamstrings? Proper stretching is key. My hammys are easier to stretch when warmed up. what i do, (if you can and are able to) is sit in my tub filled with hot to med hot water to about, knee, laying flat, high, and stretch the hammys. Beathing deep breaths all the while. If no tub, rub some tiger balm or icy hot, then stretch. Also, try to always tense your stomach throughout your day and in whatever you're doing. It takes the load off of the back. The whole body is one unit. Tensing that tummy is the key to a good back.
