Ladies, please consider doing background checks on any man you're considering going to the next level with. I was also in a DV situation in my early twenties and once I decided to get a restraining order against him it was revealed that 11 other women had restraining orders against him for the same reason. I could have avoided that trauma altogether by being proactive before things got serious.

I got married at 28 and divorced at 47. There is no right or wrong way. Life has twists and turns. We grow, we change, sometimes we want different things. If you don’t grow together, then you grow apart. However, I would say that in order for marriage to be successful you need to keep God at the center and keep people out of your relationship.

@@rafaelw8115 My grandma we often say I do know what I'm doing, but i don't know what is doing me,ie what is behind and responsible for my choices/decisions,actions and way. Something got to awaken you to self awareness, and that's a sign of nature, and you follow that intentionally,to go back and down to the deep:source and foundation. Do you have anything and place ancestral,if you do bring it forth and take her or them there. And use that and your life's journey and story as a point of contact and connection to awaken her true nature and structure behind it that she is been hiding and might even be running from. When that connection is established and she is comfortable, sober and free to express that true nature of self. You lead the interaction and conversation and do not be pushy nor touchy, otherwise you come off adversarial. Ask critical question ranging from the superficial and relatable topics of sex, money and material, then unto the depth of her idea, concept and purpose of self, marriage and family. Use simple and relatable words, terms and language and you pay keen and invested attention to her words, expressions to guage her fears, pains, lack and scarcity to see and understand where the resentment is coming from. This is a discovery journey and process you are to take her on,to get her to open up because nature of the mind/self is normally veiled,ie closed and locked. Thank you!.

What's Not being said...is that...as the lady said around the 8:15 mark... how she Wasn't doing the things in her 20's? To prepare her to be Married Too many you use your peak yrs, when At your Best? Playing, running around And giving the best of you to dudes who was just smashing... like you were Then you get 30,40's, and get mad that the men you want? Don't want You. Nothing... increases in value with Age and use. You get older, more used ( Aka more sexual partners) mostly for Nothing of value. Then you are older, Heavier, often w kids from another Man, bad experiences and trauma... And then the Good guy? Gets to pick up the pieces? Pay a higher price ( lifestyle, bills, your needs Are different etc) for an older more used, thus less valuable version of you? That's why it's harder for you guys. Your Best matches, Husbands? Are in your friend zone from your 20's. That's just a fact. Women are Born w their million dollar Value, ..aka her youth, fertility and beauty ...y'all are supposed to cash out for the best man you can get then Value goes down with age, weight, kids, the more dicks, experiences, Expectations you have Men? Have to Earn their value to get the woman he desires Women are born with her values As the gals said ..they thought they had more time. You Don't

To the discussion about the young lady that halted dating Ryan due to the fact that he is on a spiritual journey, I wanted to offer another opinion…if we say we want men who can lead us in marriage and we are dating with intention, then spiritual belief and practice is incredibly important to the evaluation process. If Im a sold out believer in Jesus Christ and a man is not sure what practice he intends to pursue that is a deal breaker for me because the God a man answers to is my first evaluation in his capacity to lead. I don’t think she was acting out of anxiety but intentionality.

The young lady who bowed out gracefully from Ryan, if she was intentionally dating, I think her response hit on the head. A solid spiritual foundation is imperative in order for a man to lead her. His “figuring it out” seemed premature at least for an intentionally dating woman.

this is crazy. If spiritual growth, and headship was actually a barrier for entry she wouldve never spoke to the man. She was still attracted to the outside. This is the downfall of our community. Yall say you want headship but only if hes 6 ft, only if he has tats, only if he has the right beard etc. Because bw, more than any other group, choose aesthetics over substance they are constantly getting played. She was already a babymama, but now is seeking a spiritual leader? No the truth is she was seeking a man who looked a certain way. Gave him access and later on was upset he had no character. If you are seeking men who are 6 ft, make good money (6 figs), and 6 down below, you are seeking out the devil. The mark of the beast is literally 666 but women seek out three 6's from the men in they want. when black women stop looking at aesthetics and start seeking character , within 1 generationall the thugs would be gone. Men do what is necessary to gain access to your womb. Our grandmothers were chaste women, who were not seeking multiple men. They went to wholesome dances, met men at church, through family, and community. Yall want your grandmothers results but didnt evaluate the men the way they did, nor are you seeking men like your grandpa. If only 15% of the global populace is over 6 ft. it means most of our grandfathers were not tall, yet thats the number 1 factor for most women.

Totally agree. A serious woman whose life style is faith based understands that her partner absolutely has to share thesame faith base as her for a relationship to have any hopes of working out. Him not seeing the big deal in it is telling that up until now, he hasn't figured it out yet because if he had, he'd understand why she had to leave. Faith is never enough to leave a relationship to people who don't consider faith a big deal and that's exactly why faith is an absolute reason to leave 😊

When it comes to men not approaching women let me just say this. For the past few years it was a trend of every woman calling a man interested in them THIRSTY. It was a trend for a lot of women saying they went to the club and finessed men all night for drinks. It was a trend of women embarrassing guys who walked up to them even if they approached them respectfully to boost their ego and also to show in front of friends. I had a friend tell me her girl embarrassed a guy that walked to her that she thought was actually attractive. So a lot of men like me are not approaching any woman that doesn’t give a signal of acceptance. Because at the end of the day interest should be mutual.

I have to say that as a woman of God I do have standards at a minimum that I align myself with a Christ follower. As I get to know a person and I find out they are an unbeliever or a Muslim, I would put the brakes on it because I wouldn’t want to fall for that person… my philosophy is don’t start none, won’t be none. Has nothing to do with anxiety or self sabotage. I do realize that just being a believer won’t make the relationship, that’s just the starting point. Just food for thought…

That actually doesn’t work, to be successful at anything you have to pattern yourself after folks who have the success that you are looking for in anything in life whether it’s marriage or business. Just being yourself is what got you to where you are, and if you are not happy with where you are and desire something different, then obviously you are going to have to do something differently. You can’t just be the same person and expect different results, that’s not how life works. When you learn better, you behave better and intentionally change to be a better you. There are lots of little things we can do to continuously improve ourselves and make ourselves assets that others can see value in, things like improving your health and fitness, the way we dress and our overall appearance to the world, our appreciation of what we have and giving back to less fortunate etc. These things require effort, you can’t be lazy and complacent and expect better results. That’s just not how life works…

And this is where the "comparsion" on social media take place. I have a degree and a good career. I am speaking from a place of "humility" no disrespect to anyone. Adversity builds bond, and so connection is built together. Especially for females,as experience on the part of a female is not valued by men. Because her purity, fertility and youthfulness is highly valued by men. She going through the experience alone and adversity taking a torn on her purity, fertility and youthfulness costs her,her inherent lure and bond pairing and hosting -ability, which is consequent upon her purity. These are sublime and subtle issues and concepts that cultures that are proactive and strategic in nature know and transfer orally in house as oral tradition. Study traditional values and rituals of passage for youngmen in ancient and cultures that are creative, leadership and production oriented. which is conceptually known as circumcision or Initiation in some cultures.

@@fabulousswag6683I totally agree with your analysis of home talking of values grounded in tradition going a long way to productive and appreciative accountable life as value adding in long term. I watched dating and a wedding in Turkey where family values and tradition are so strongly spoken to both men and women and respect is mutual. Men know their value adding productive professional and providing role and women are hard working and home builders yet professional without a blur in home values passed on. Initiation differs from culture to culture but there's a lot of positives one can home talk to our offsprings I have raised my boys to respect women but take leadership and be productive even before graduation by being active in my business and save to buy first house even before graduation. That's home built shaping and value add they grow with

I am culturally astute but proactive and strategic in Positioning my boys for a value add life, I studied other cultures over a period of time and productive nature of nations, e.g. German work ethic, Chinese creativity, Turkish dating and handing over of a woman ceremony and we discussed it elaborately I'm the house over the years. It has groomed me and my boys

@@normansindana4366 , That's keen observation and as you should notice, ownership is never taught in schools, rather it is transmitted orally in oral tradition. Study their TRADITIONS. For example, the Christian tradition coded as and in " The Seven Sacrament". The sacraments being: 1)Baptism,2) Confirmation/Chrismation, 3)Eucharist, 4)Annoiting of the sick,5)Penace,6) Holy orders and 7) Holy Matrimony. Now wait for it,the first 3 of baptism, Chrismation and eucharist is grouped as : Iniatiation. The second 2 of Annoiting of the sick and Penace is grouped as : Healing. And the last 2 of Holy orders and Matrimony is grouped as Profession, Vocation or Career. That's the principle/structure, and process of passage of rites into Manhood and Godhood/Godman.

This is one of the best shows I've watched, when it comes to dating talk. Two nice looking women, and how you carried yourself. Just amazing. For the time I was watching this, at the same time I was looking up to you women. I just turned 40 in Oct and I swear I've been thinking "I'm not like these other negative women. I'm 40 and single but it's because I've been in my own little world, and with respect to marriage, I just knew I was never ready. I'm ready now 😉". I'm not bitter. I'm as goofy as they come, I'm teachable and I do not mind being a productive, submissive wife. Again, awesome show, and I'm so proud of you women, even though I don't know you. Peace, love and Joy!!!!

Absolutely loved this episode and enjoyed the different point of views that were brought forward. The one that stood out was the situation with Ryan. No, I don’t think that what the girl did/said to Ryan was self sabotaging at all! She was true to herself and had the right to call it off as soon as possible. As a Christian myself I wouldn’t date/marry a muslim man, our beliefs are totally different, so If I find out that someone is exploring Islam, Why continue getting to know that person, potentially fall deep in love with them, only for them to convert and then we are not on the same page spiritually?? In the same way I wouldn’t date a man who isn’t a Christian but exploring Christianity, because what if I fall in love and it turns out that he thinks Christianity is crazy? It’s important for me to be on the same page spiritually with a potential spouse. Also, I’m aware that you can both be Christians or Muslim and still doesn’t work out, but may be that could be because of financial reasons, inlaws, raising children. Having Spirituality in common is not enough when everything else is off wack. P.S a Muslim and Christian who are married and is working out only means either both of them, or one of them are luke warm in their spirituality. A sold out Muslim or Christian would never!! Thanks so much for such quality content ❤️

I am also a woman in my early 40's thank you for this topic I have leant a lot, in my younger years I was very scared of commitment and having kids. I always wanted to date someone who is a friend because I can be myself but some men take friendship as a way of rejection even though it's not but friendship build a good foundation for a relationship

I want to give 100% credit to these ladies for sharing their mistakes for the purpose of helping younger women. This is extremely rare as 99.99% of older women don’t try to help the younger women succeed with relationships at all. Now will the youngsters listen? Millions of other women have made these same errors.

1:04:06 I was wondering the same thing. It sounds like the two of you have put in a lot of work over the years and still don’t have the results you want. At this point, have they considered hiring a dating coach or matchmaker? Especially Brandy because she’s been in the circles where men of high caliber congregate. 10+ years is a long time to be dating and not meet at least one person who would qualify as an amazing mate.
