Hi mate, the service costs seems way to high - on the official Sinn homepage -> it’s € 180,- (~200 bucks) for a factory revision (dismantle, clean, lubricate, assemble and adjust the movement, exchange of all technically necessary parts)renewing the sealing system (all O-rings incl. Crown, pushers only if technically necessary), water pressure test, cleaning the case, repairing the metal bracelet (if necessary and possible, no replacement of the clasp) & final check - all for $ 200,- !! IMO the screwed you 😡

Have a couple of inexpensive automatic Seiko's and Invicta's that are 12 to 15 years old. Never been serviced, and they keep perfect time. I wonder about a lot of these "luxury" items, that often do not have anywhere near the durability of the most basic of items in the same category.

I got a green one too, it stopped working after 2 days, completely stopped. Went back to AD for a week, problem seems to be fixed, the AD's repairman said that a screw was loose and he only tightened the screw and works again. Although the fix was quick, but I didn't expect this kind of sloppy QC from Sinn. This is my first Sinn, the experience discouraged me from getting another.

Wow! 560 for service! That's a lot for a service. I wanted a Sinn 104, but I may have to look at something else if a service cost that much. I may go with the phoibus great wall at 519.00, it has the eta 2824-2 movement, 500 meter water resistant, double dome anti reflective sapphire crystal. Bezel inlay is sapphire covered. That's the price I'm looking at. (actually the one my wife says I could afford) 🙁

I'm torn between this and the formex essence chrono. They are both so good. The Formex seems a little better especially with the chronometer movement SW200 vs the standard sw220-1. I think it also traverses the line between dress watch and working tool visually a bit better than the sinn. But the sinn has a great counting bezel and looks like something a P-51 Mustang pilot would wear... Tough choices, what do you think?
